BTW Ray, I'm in the process of getting together everything to repaint parts I have to go on the FC. After today I've got everything except the paint and a few small materials. If I end up doing a decent job maybe you'll give the silver one a shot...

I'm one step ahead of you Brett, I did the black trim and touched up the silver metallic over the weekend and plan to add clear coat this week, as soon as the spray gun and paint arrive in the mail.

If you have any tips or tricks for spraying paint I'd love to hear them. I'm thinking about shooting Dave a PM soon to ask a few newbie questions.

 

Dave is the man on spray painting, I'm just feeling my way and make lots of mistakes that could have been avoided if I wasn't so bull headed to think I can do that, couldn't be that difficult.

And Brett, as I recall it was your crap about my window trim (together with Michael's comments about my multicolored bumper) that got me thinking maybe I should do something about it.

I am surprised anyone finds the meets the way Ray gives directions. FBJason, the name of the place is Twisted Tavern, on Horizon Drive, Suwanee.

I am plannig to be there. But, the Blue One is going to be not feeling the love. I have not done any work on it in a while.

Donnie and I were plan on coming, but his SA needed work, and my lazy butt dont feel like driving all the way across town in the 90 degree heat and traffic, so will have to see everyone in Sep.

who is the guy with the black FC with black wheels? I keep seeing that car on Craigslist FS for over a year now...
Oh..also, the FBs are putting the FCs to shame...why do I keep seeing FCs with busted bumpers and paint, when the 30 yr old FBs are in way better condition? I am starting to associate FCs with those 240 kids.........
