Hadn't looked at it that way Billy, you got a point. So we'll have an Unburnt FD Trophy.

1) First in Show Trophy

2) The FB Trophy (or Second Best FB, if an FB is First in Show)

3) Miles Most Traveled in an FB Trophy (Kent this includes SE's)

4) SA Trophy

5) Old School Trophy

6) FC Trophy

7) Most Improved Trophy

8) Clean Interior/Engine Bay Trophy

9) Unburnt FD Trophy

They only burn down when retarded owners neglect a 20 cent piece.( FPD o'ring) And take their cars to retarded techs that rely on half *** repairs for return business. All my FD's I work on get the FPD removed or replaced. Removed IMO is the best.

Thanks Stu, that helps with the Trophy selection. If I get the primer on the pantry trim this evening I'm gonna start polishing up the Trophies while I watch the game.

I've got to somehow lower my can so it doesn't melt my bumper too.

I drove to the store today and when I got home I looked and sure enough it's starting to make the paint come off up under the bumper. I should get another energy boost and finish that **** before I've got to drive it any more...

Some say the introduction of FPD O rings was the beginning of the end for the RX-7.

Brett, I could say something about your hot can but I won't

It is semi disturbing that you have that photo saved Ray.....

I just saw the EPA rating for gas milage on the 2010 mustangs(V6&8)...My 1981 FB gets better gas milage..So the last 30+ years of regulation was for not.

I didn't save the photo Dave, it's from the OGTA archives (page 159, 02-08-09). Brett can delete it if he wants but I think he's kinda proud of his hot can.

I'm with you on the gas mileage, I'm getting 23-24 mpg with the White One, better than most new cars. Hard to get the math to come out right on buying a new car, so it looks like GSLs forever for me. Could be worse.

Stu what has that photo got to do with the price of gas? Is that a yellow Mustang convertible?

Here are the photos for the Unburnt FD Trophy. It's a nice chrome on brass number, set on a polished marble stand. Very New Age, perfect for the FD crowd:

These are authentic road racing trophies that were originally awarded in Germany back in 1983-1984, a really cool old dude gave them too me so that we could use them for the 1st Annual OGTA Car Show. Here are some of the tags I removed from some of them:

And did you guys see this? Old Guys can jump!

Nice stuff Ray. Now will these be awarded at each meet and "recycled" for each one thereafter? I want that trophy!A few of them actually

Dave, do you have an OGTA card? If not PM me and I'll see if I can locate one for a reasonable price.

The gentleman gave me about 10 trophies (plus the one I got at work for the Best Something or Other) and it looks like we have 9 categories for the 1st Lake House Annual Beauty Contest and I'm awarding two to myself, so it looks like a one time thing. But I'll bring the Stanley Cup idea up with the awards committee (hint Awards Committee, what'd think?).

In the mean time I'll keep an eye on craigslist for more trophies.

PS, the best are yet to come. You know I wouldn't give the best Trophy to an FD, right?
