im currently in school for engineering. i am at GSC taking EVERY class they have that pertains to engineering. i will spend a total of 3 years here, but itll help me out in the long run. after this i plan on transferring to SPSU to get a degree in mechatronics, and then afterwards transfer to Ga Tech to get a masters in ME. it hasnt even been done, that i am aware of, but anything is possible. i am sure i will have to take a few ME undergrad classes to be accepted into the ME masters program, but oh well. when its alsaid and done ill probably have a undergrad in mecha and ME and a masters in ME.

itll be a lot of work, but well worth in my opinion.

i will also be doing ther Air Force ROTC program so that when i am finished i will commission into the Air Force as an officer.

check out SPSU, its a great school. I am going up there friday to tour the campus with the GSC engineering club.

And I did a little to my car and that spare motor. I'll get pictures soon!

Thanks Brett, but you can't read it (same problem I had).

I fixed the one that was too big, it's still not strictly street legal but it's not too bad (best I could do).

Maybe Doc will cut me some slack.

Let's see the photos of the new work.

So where you trampin' to school anyway?? I like Tim's idea, get your butt in the best place you can and decide later. You gotta take those military options seriously.

Thanks for the photos Kent, looks like you guys got a winter preview on the way back. You gotta love GA. Pretty nice Saturday afternoon we're havin' down here, mid 70's and sunny.

Go Dawgs!!

Argh.

Still can't figure out how to get the solenoid rack out on the FD. I got 6 of the 7 little screws out of the side of the rack, but the last one is hard to get to and may be stripped. Not sure, can't see it. It has a fuel line lying right on it. So I'm trying to get the whole rack set up now. Can't see what else I need to remove. It may be the oil filler neck, can't quite tell. The back half is loose, but the front driver corner is still secured by something.

I'm just venting here.

Ok, pictures:

And yes, I'm aware of the blatant bolt in the middle holding the rack down. That's not the issue, I just put that back in when trying to pull hoses and stuff to keep things from moving around.

If there is a specific picture I need to take, just let me know.

On another note, just in case anyone is interested, I thought I'd give you guys first shot. I have 2 sets of stock FD wheels for sale, 1 stock finish, 1 powdercoated "gunmetal" grey. The stock ones have some black marks on them.

Kent & Micki,

I see you found the dragon and stopped at the store. I hope Micki found some items to take home. I hope you guys can make it back in the spring for DGRR 2009.

Yeah, but he's married.

Thanks for the update on the OG@TA card Kevin, I'll print some of those out for the next meet (Dec 2 for me).

Nice pictures Tim. What is it?

Anybody have one of these?

It looks a little confused. It has the diamond star for Mitsubishi and the name of Mazda.

Go talk to an ARMY / Marine Corps recruiter. Talking never hurts.

By the way, who's up for the PDX at Road Atlanta next weekend? The $100 fee covers admission, so there's no ticket price on top of it, and you get to bring someone for free (uh, I mean crew...) If anyone wants a free ticket in, let me know and you can be my crewman. All you'll need is a camera and a stopwatch.

So seriously, who's coming? Dave? Tim? Stu?

Smack him in the boob

So I got some pictures of the motor I got from Collin (#1):

Before- Nasty long block:

Then- Nasty short block:

And finally, that above cleaned:

^It's good enough for now

And I repainted the letters on the top of the motor. I'll be doing it once more, but it's a lot better.
