Well.........Did anyone get a chance to go by and molest that RX7 at Pull-A-Part? I was hoping to get up there, but the little boy has been sick. I'm off work this week, and have a lot of stuff I wanted to get done. But it looks like I'm just doing daddy day care. If any of you guys get to go up there, grab the alternator, bolts, spacer, and low coolant sensor for me, and I will pay you at the meet this Sunday.

nah im ordering the full turbo II drivetrain from japan tomorrow so i can go ahead and get my turbo and everything all in one shot. picked it up for 1500 shipped with a warranty and dont have to wonder if it runs or not. only thing i got to figure out is the driveshaft issue.

I just replaced my heater hoses with generic hoses I routed and cut my self for like 6 bucks instead of buying the OEM ones for like 50 or 60 bucks. I guess I'm just SA to the core.

I have done something of the sort before. Tried it with the RX, and done a swap for a Diamante I used to have.

 

yea this swap is gonna be new for me. the only swap ive ever done was made a 4.3 v6 s10 into a supercharged 350 s10 but thats only a couple wires to reroute and whatnot to make that run.

 

Dude, I meant I cut the hoses to fit, not I cut my finger, lol. Although I did bust some knuckles doing some other mods

 

So Tim. You planning on trying the FTP mod? If I get a chance to swing by Radio Shack, I am going to get the diode to try it. Sounds like a killer deal to me!

well we are gonna try and make it to the meet this weekend. we will be moving saturday and possibly cleaning up the old apartment on sunday. if we do come i hope you dont mind us pullin up in a G6.

Is that hard, doing the na to turbo swap? I'd like to do it if it's not too bad. Oh by the way I went by and looked at that t2 that guy was selling for 600 the body is perfect the interior needs work there is no motor at all the trans and driveshaft and rearend are there. He can't find the title or the keys. I thought about offering him 450 and parting it out. anyone need black body panels or interior pieces of an 88 t2

 

there is a white 2nd gen here in mooresville right over by talbert business park for sale not sure on price but looks nice from the road
