I would sell it, but simply put, the fact that I never got it to run correctly (and still do not know why) I would not sell it

Pics for kicks and giggles:

It runs pig rich at idle. Can't get a good idle below 1000rpm.

I really need to get some 20mm freeze plugs. When I get this OER blown apart and all that, hopefully I will find something in it that is causing all this.

Stu your getting kinda picky with where you want that thing to idle arent you. Hell i keep mine at around 1500 just because i can haha, if you would just give in to the peer pressure and use a nice holley setup that someone has you might enjoy it.

True......True......I think Stu was giggling like a little school when he called on his way homelast night. But, you can buy 'em books, send 'em to school, and all they want to do is color the pages and eat the cover! So, Stu. How was the ride today?

ok, did some research, would you suggest the racing oil they make also?? I've heard royal purple is the best, but this stuff claims to be pretty good.

i would shy away from the Royal Purple. stick with castrol in the engine and use Either Idemitsu Rotary Fuel lube or Castrol synthetic pre-mix which can be found at any motorcycle shop.

pre-mix will not hurt your fuel filter in a matter of days unless it was already on it's way out haha. i have pre-mixed for years and it's the only way to go even if you still have the omp because THEY JUST ARE NOT SUFFICIENT ON THEIR OWN

public service announcement

even still, if it clogged up that fast i don't think it was the pre-mix.
