I77 & I40 Crossroads rotary meet
See......I told you that along time ago. It starts off innocent enough with "I'm just going to remove the rast nest", then BAM! Working two jobs to support that carck habit that is the Rotary engine. Your crack right now is a half bridge. Then you get into harder stuff like PP engines that cause you to have black outs during use. I told you man. It just keeps going down hill from here
!

the 45 will work no doubt, but you'll probably be using F7's or F11's (can't remember off top of my head) with a rediculous jet which off boost might not be so much fun.
hey you statesville guys..one of my friend just bought a 90 GTU with a T2 swap and the car is having a hard time idling. Do you guys have a compression tester and if so, can you guys do a check for him??
btw i'll be at one of these meets one day

!Thank you Dave Chapelle..

Work is letting me get 6 days now, but they are starting me off at half days on the saturdays I don't work, then I am going to see if I can sneak in full days on those thursdays I have off.
so umm does anybody have any 13b`s layin around? mine took a **** on me today in my parents driveway. lost compression completely on the front rotor. prolly gonna pull the engine tonight or in the morning. no idea what im gettin into yet but we gonna see how fast of a learner i ma over the next couple weeks.

RX7's always seem to go at the weirdest times... Sorry to hear about that man!
Anyone on the board know a guy with a white T2 S5 with the plates "BENJAMIN"? I saw you/him this morning on th eway to work. At the 485/85 merge towards charlotte from the west. He ended up heading north on Freedom/27.
yea i pulled the trailing plug on it and it wouldnt do anything. i held my finger over the hole in disbelief thinkin my compression tester was screwed up. but of course not. but me and my brother worked on it for about an hour and called off the engine pull do to lack of heat. just got the 2 motor mount bolts and 1 bell housing bolt to pull in the morning and jerk it out. then i guess its time to start crappin money for the rebuild kit. i guess i may as well get some porting templates while im in there and do that too. but as i said earlier this is gonna be a learning experience, and i hope and pray all my mics and calipers are still in calibration seein as i havent had to use them in years. but if i have any questions ill deffinately run them by you guys.
Look what pullapart just got in. Hurry up while its hot!

I would be interested in getting some stuff off that car myself. I'm always robbing parts from second gens to keep the first gens rolling
. I'll need to see what day that I could go with you.

I'v been watching your progress on these lights in the first gen section. Can't wait to see them this Sunday. I have a nice RB intake and Holley sitting on the shelf in the garage if your interested. Just throwing it out there for you. I put a SPR intake and carb on the SA over the weekend, and reinstalled the MOP. No more premixing for the SA ! I fugured if a non Rotary person buys the car, that's something that they wouldn't understand. I also got the carpet changed out, that Ray gave me. That made a big inprovement on the looks of the interior. I'm so excited on how the SA is coming, that I don't know if I should drive it or the Turbo FB this Sunday
.
.
I vote for bring the SA. I want to see the interior now that you have more finished parts.
Not sure I like the light thing, but maybe once I see it live I'll change my mind. Did you get the clutch hydraulics fixed?
I have some things I've been working on, but I'll leave them as a surpise for the meet

Nice taillights Stu. I'm not completely getting what you're doing there, but maybe it will be obvious when we see them in person.
Anybody headed down for the OGTA meet tomorrow (Tues) night at Crit's house?

Well fellas... I've been talked out of selling the Single turbo FD... Now I'm just going to sell the Auto FD. I'm such a girl huh? ha ha... (no offense to any girls that might be reading this)... I'll be at the meet in spirit. Unfortunately, I will be running around in the woods playing Army at Ft. Bragg Fri-Sun. Hope the meet goes well. You guys take it easy.

coming up 77 north get off at exit 36 and take a left off the ramp, it will take you back over the interstate and go about a 1 to 1 1/2 miles, and it is on your right, you will see a target and dick's sporting goods back behind it.
