So, to dump or not to dump? That is the question. I have always liked the Aussie style dumpy mufflers, but I didn't want to just buy another muffler just for the looks. So I did a little "make my own" dumpy. There is actually more curve in it than the pics show. I just haven't decided whether to leave it the length it is, or shorten it up a little. So what ya'll think.

 

Need to make it like a lobster tail, not a straight round at the end but beveled into the curve if you know what I mean.

So Josh decided to come today with the Silver FB. We were on our way to RotorSports today when we decided to stop by Paul's new shop. To make a long story short, we got Paul talked into letting us make a few pulls with the 12A Bridgeport. I'm not going to make any claims, I'll just let the dyno sheets speak for themself

Ya the car is all motor, the turbo is not on it yet and the book says that a stock 12A came with 98 RWHP and 80 Torque, the 12A bridge made 172.7 RWHP and 124.1 torque. That is on 87 pump gas and low timing, So if it had more timing and race gas maybe 190 RWHP So we will see

Good hunting today guys. Robby and I went to the junkyard in China Grove that Cory went to. Sweet finds there. Robby got the rear from a 83 GSL. I finally scored some factory leather door panels. I also picked up a 130 speedo from the GSL with 84k on it. Awsome, just awsome. Both of the FBs there are 83 GSL factory leather cars. Sucks that neither one had good seats. I did also pick up the rear carpet from one that other than being dirty was in great shape. Finally getting some of the final details taken care of on my car
