My old Smellica. Came in for a brake job.

Mountain pwnage. I believe I am the only one who can make the rear end come out on a front wheel drive car... No, no lift off oversteer here...

DJ, your like a friggin cat, you only have 7 lives left.

Sam the bimmer bumper looks nice.

Stu you better stick with rear wheel drive, I think the front wheel dynamics are throwing you for a loop.

Update on my project. I'm doing drywall this weekend Hopefully I'll be done in time for the next meet. I missed a lot of cool outings for this room I'm doing. Oh well it adds 300 sq ft to the living space of the house that can't be bad.

Hey guys, im having some sounds again from the rear. Does anyone know of a LSD rear chunk out of a 81' anywhere. I need one to prove mine is bad. I had a guy work on it a while back and its been a little weird lately. I want to buy another and put it in to prove him that is it, then he will pay me for the new part. I would like to get this fixed. Thanks

I got the protege back a few days ago. After driving the RX for a few weeks, the protege felt so soft and luxurious! Then I took a turn.

Robbie, I'll keep my eyes peeled. The only I have hear at the house is a welded diff. Great shape, but full posi.

Edger, the glass buffing compound I used is made by Duragloss. It's called NuGlass. I've had this stuff for a while and I don't know if they still make it.

Definatly held up better than OEM mazda paint from the same era!! It ALWAYS peeled

Rob: I am not sure what year the car is that is in China Grove that I was going to grab the rear end from. But if it is what you need go grab it. I believe the whole rear axle is like 100 bucks. I really want it but realistically can't grab it for another couple weeks. Just a heads up on a LSD

Well ya it is the first time i blacked out which was when i found out about my brain tumor and this one is just because some dipship was impatient to pull out of his neighborhood.

Anyways i have my keys and im thinkin i cant drive for another 3weeks on dr.notice but i can probably have AAA tow it to your house or i can prob drive it and leav it with you that way u wont have to rush and i think my downpipe gaskets about out too so if u have to replace that i can pay for it too and ill pay for all of it when i pick it up.

Juss lemme know what works for you

where in china grove is this. I would like to get it and work on it asap. I looked all over my car and cant find anything else that could be causing an issue. I payed the guys to fix and set the backlash. I tried it but did not have the right tools to set the bearing side cap torque. So it took to the guy, i had it set at .0035" backlash, i have all the tools for that from working in a machine shop. So i took it over he takes a week. And then my wife goes and gets it. I checked it first and .007" backlash. I said screw it if it breaks he will have to pay for it. So i have been driving it. Not even 400 miles and it starts making noise, down shifting. 20 miles more its making noise on and off the gas and if im doing 55mph and hold the clutch in its got one hell of a vibration. So if you guys think the one in China Grove is there i would be willing to go get it tomorrow after work. Its killing me to not have this right. Let me know where this car is and when the place is open. Thanks PM if you would

Dave if you got dibs on it i will find another, just let me know if you had plans for it or if you were just going to hold on to it

Feel free to grab it. I don't do dibs. I won't have any extra cash for it for a couple more weeks. I was planning on putting it under the 500 dollar jewel FB so I can have disc breaks and LSD But that wasn't going to happen soon even if I grab it, soo go for it. There will be another for me later on.

Is there a FB front bumper and rear bumper that did NOT have the ugly black molding strips on them?I am smoothing the car out and want to rid the nasty moldings. I am thinking of shaving the ones that are there off and glassing the hole up with a new product I was shown today. Some new fiber puddy or some ****, Hard as a frigging rock I pulled the Rx7 emblems from the front fenders and closed those holes, repaired rust and primed. next I am smoothing out the door dings etc from the fenders.

I believe the yard is called C&D auto..Kory knows for sure. I would imagine they would be open on Saturdays.

You going to try and make the FB front bumper work with widebody? This should be interesting. The Fb should look pretty good when your done. The only thing that is going to hard to decide on, is the wheels to fill those fenders

Well guys the FB runs great but I just got in from fixing it, I was showing off and turned it to much and ripped the clutch fan from the water pump, studs and all!!! So there goes the fan shroud, but it did not hurt the radiator. So I guess the stock fan can't hold high rpm before it explodes I think that the clutch had seized up and that is what made it brake.
