**** man, glad nothing got f'd up. atleast now you know you had a faulty clutch fan

Dang Long. You can't keep your foot out of it can you? Well, at least you didn't hurt the radiator. I have a couple of extra fan shrouds here if you need one. A little birdie told you were thinking of taking it to the dragstrip............Give it a little break in time and tuning before you do that. Plus it might be a good idea to go ahead and weld that diff up like we talked about......

So my next car project got dropped off today. I looked under the hood and found what appears to be a dinosaur or something from early civilization. Anyone recognize this?..

It is getting a full body respray in Ford Wimbledon White.( Same color) It is Josh's brothers 65 Mercury Comet. Pretty clean car considering the age and history of bare metal storage. The thing is freakin looooong!

lol Dave that engine actually has alot of technology in it. its deffinately not just an average 351 windsor. Its actually a 351 block and heads, Dodge 318 Crankshaft, Chevy 350 Rods, Pistons 2.02 intake valves and 1.64 exhaust, no idea on the new camshaft specs. 7.5:1 compression ratio. needless to say the engine was intended for large amounts of boost but unfrotuneatly the 871 weiand supercharger and manifold was sold before my brother bought the car. Written out on paper that engine shouldnt even run. But our old neighbor that built that engine and a well known machinist in the mountains planned that engine for months and finally built it over 25 years ago. Kind of amazes me still that with a little time and the right knowledge you can build something like that.

Long went ahead and came down today. I will have to admit, that bridgeport is freekin strong now. That sucker is going to be nasty with the turbo. We dropped in a new shroud, took her for a test drive, and all I can say is "wow" what an improvement.

Freakin sweetness Long. So today my Dad comes over and brings me an AC Compressor that he found lying around in his garage. He tells me some friend of his gave it to him a long time ago, and he doesn't know what it fits. So I get to looking at it, and I find this weird labal on the back.

Kinda hard to make out, but the label reads "ORUGA Wankel Compresser". Then it has a little rotary emblem on it. So I imediatly start ripping it apart. This is what I found!

Holy Sh$t. I remeber reading a while back about a guy taking one of these and making it gas powered. I think I have found my next project!!!! Here's some pics to compare the size of this little rotary to a 12A.

The rotor housing

Size differance between 12A, Sachs, Oruga
