I77 & I40 Crossroads rotary meet
you feelin OK Josh, I think you have had 2 many beers on SB sunday, you posted a domestic
Silly boy!
I got An't's injectors fitted and tested for leaks The car runs very smooth. His boost controller is going in now, then the wing is going to be positioned and mounted. After being painted of course. Starting to think of renting the car to him when he wants to drive it . It has made a cozy home in my garage and will miss it's 7 family when it leaves.
Another note: I had a Josh call my hoouse last week I think. I got a message from Elizabeth that "josh called about Rx7 parts" Was this you or Josh Long? If it was Mr. Long, please have him call again as I cannot find his # that you gave me.

Sweetness Anthony. Hey Dave, it was Josh long that tried to get ahold of you. I am off work this coming week, so I should have his car finished when the rest of the parts come in. I also picked up a mint '83 Limited Edition from the owner of Melson's Auto Parts. He want's me to get it back on the road for him. The LE has 87k miles on it. He bought the car new from Montgomery Mazda in Charlotte in 1983
That is so cool.
On a side note. I may not be able to make it Sunday. I had some family stuff come up that I can't get out of. This freakin sucks. I wanted everyone to check out the new heart transplant in the Turbo FB. That's okay. You guys will see it soon enough.........

the vert lives!!!!! i just took her out for a stroll. i didnt put the hood back on and i have an exaust leak, but the tranny feels great. the shifter though, in first and second are against the E-brake handle. that shifter is garbage. its running alittle funny tho, its variating, im gonnna chect it out in the morning when i have light. And man, that things pulls like a raped ape, i was very surprised the way it sailed after that kinda swap.
the sad thing is lippy, my civic would out jump my rx7 off the line when it was an auto. this is just a diffrent world. just gotta go out there and figure out why its variating at idle......
Good deal Andre. I'm off this week, so bring the old girl by. SPR is off and rolling. If I keep this up, I'm going to put every RX back on the road
Josh asked that I put up a few pics of his 12A Turbo. Still waiting on the couplers, but she is running great with no boost. Here you go Josh........

Here's some pics of Rick's '83 Limited Edition. I got it running earlier today. It's not normal for a rotary to be this quiet......

This thing is completely bone stock original. So sad......

wow sam, thats ricks car aint it. its a gem. i have figured out the shifter issue, its actually the shifter, when i put it in 1st it raises up, but i can push it where it belongs. this shifter has really had it. the variating is a vaccum leak somewhere, i found one, but apparently theres another, guess im on the prowl again. man i miss driving that ol gal.

andre its not your shifter. you need new bushings. there is a upper and lower viton bushing in those that go out all the time. mazda has the upper bushing part number on file but there computer doesnt pop up the lower. if you search it on the forums here there is a thread with the lower bushing part number that you can give mazda and theyll get you the bushing.
