2,000 hp 1979 SA rx7! pics and specs inside

ive been super busy at the shop and i havnt posted any projects in a while so i thought i would share this wild one!
specs

NRE 427 big block crate motor
NRE custom twin turbo system
NRE full billet intake system
its got a dual fuel system that switches from pump gas at low boost to race gas on high boost. its called octane on demand, it is programmed through the ecu
electromotive EMS
aremotive dual A 1000 fuel pumps
custom front mount intercooler, hood latch system was swapped for I/C clearence
built turbo 400 transmission

some more pics

9" rear end thats been narrowed, big axles ans a spool
the rear of the rx7 is mini tubbed, rolled rear fenders, to fit the massive street legal drag radials
the front end has lots of custom sheet metal work to help het cold air to the intercooler and the dual K&N filters

Christ. Is this thing street legal? If so, it could give that British guy with the Vauxhall Victor a run for his money.

its definatly street legal
its smogged and registered

i will get some driving footage of it uploded when i get a chance.

IMO, there IS such a thing as too much.
and this is a bit too much.
So, I'm guessing about 1/4 mpg or less at "full" boost running on race gas, and roughly 3-5 mpg on pump gas??
That's a whole lotta go power!

Quick question, when did BBC's start running 4 bolt SBC valve covers? Either way, still a wicked setup.

i was wondering the same thing, then i thought that maybe the newer style heads for that motor may have changed over the years.

That's insane... not a fan of anything else in the RX's besides a Rotary but just wow.
