yea you missed a hell of a parkway run today. we hit 151 which is evil on a factory car. red with the stock sunfire and brandon in the g6 found that out real quick as me and micah both beat them down the mountain by 10 minutes. but also found another nice one up near weaverville called ox creek. not quite as rough on a stock car but still fun. i wanna say john said the wideband was 289 but maybe cheaper. Ian said John actually enjoyed the dyno day for once. apparently he hates doing dyno days but I talked to him after all was said and done and he said he hopes we will come back and that we were a great group of guys. ill hopefully have some pics up soon.

DAMN!! I hate electrical gremlins I have been chasing a gremlin on the FD i have in the shop for about a 3 days now. The fuel pump will not prime when the key is turned on. I can start the car with starter fluid and it will then run on it's own....wierd!!

I have foundI have a power lead in the relay circuits that is grounding when it should not be grounded. I have basically the entire front wire harness unwrapped and looking like spaghetti Still NO bare?pinched or melted wiring on that wire.

I swear there is a fuel cut-off switch the original owner installed that only affects the starting circuit of the fuel pump..but i have yet to prove that theory AAAARRGGHHH!!! OK I feel a little better now..

STU!! PDX at Road Atlanta Nov. 9th 100 bucks plus entry fee to the Great American Road Race of Champions event that weekend. I am trying to make it. So far 26 cars registered.

I've got a FSM, however I do not have the more in depth Electrical SM. Not really needed though. I am just working my way thru the circuit to find it. What a pain. And I already made sure that it is incorrect by checking the values on the same circuit on my car. No continuity to Ground. So I am on the correct problem circuit at least. I have unplugged everything I can find on that circuit but it is still going to ground somewhere. It has to be a pinched wire I believe since I still have continuity thru the wire end to end PITA!!

Hey Stu and everyone else.. maybe you want to do this event the next week. Friday the 14th. It is at VIR and you get a 20 minute paced session with every 25 dollar donation of cash or equivelant canned food(s)

I am going to this as well I believe since it is on my day off

Does anybody know where the track in Mooresville is? I would like to do a couple of runs b4 I do anything else to see what kind of a difference they do. If anybody else wants to go that would be cool for a couple passes.

If you are talking about the drag strip then it is off of 152, Thursday nights are test and tune night, you can run all night for 15 bucks, opens at 6 and closes at 10 i think, I am usually out there every one of those nights, id love to see another rotary come out!

It was a tad bit nipply to go shirtless! Don't think it got into the high 50's that day. Otherwise it is O'natural for sure, As well I didn't want to start any sighting rumors of the Pastey white sasquach of the Smokies.

OGTA/OSJC meet

Are any of you guys planning on heading down to GA with me for this meet? I'll be hitting the Charlotte area Friday afternoon/evening and heading out for GA in the morning. Where did you guys want to meet up?

I think I will miss the OJSC meet this time Trying to get some moo-lah for the PDX, and/or VIR. I would rather go to VIR since I haven't been there, but I want to do the PDX cause it would probably be 10x more fun.
