Well That would work, however I am on vacation this entire week!! So I am not there till next Monday, We are heading to Road Atlanta tomorrow if I can find some damn gas to put in the car..

Josh,.. Your hood has 1 pint of Mazda Brilliant Black applied to it and is curing as we speak. Whatever you had on that hood sanded like absolute shitballs Maybe a ton of wax? Did what I could for a overnight stay and sprayI'll send you some pics in a few when the shop clears out some more.

Theres gas here in East Charlotte if you dont mind waiting for a half hour maybe less. Off Albemarle Rd. and also W.T. Harris south of Tryon theres always two or three od them with gas.

Well, Cory dropped his SA off here yesterday. I pulled his carb to find the front bowl running empty. Time for a rebuild. But I did find out what was causing the massive power loss. Got that taken care of. Put one af my old carbs on his car and had it running awsome. So good, one of the neighbors down the street had to come by and tell us to slow it down.........

The car ran good for a couple of hours. Then everything went to ****. The car hates me. It will not run worth a crap now. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day...

Sounds like dirt getting in there from somewhere. Old hoses maybe? Put one of thiose glass replacable filters inline right before the carb and see if crap shows up in it.

 

I found gas down on Gilead Rd. yesterday just across the street from the hospital. Its so hidden that folks from the highway never see it and so it usually has gas. Oh yeah but they only had 87 octane which was fine for my truck, the 7 and the lawnmower

We had a midnight delivery here in Denver at 1 count it 1!! station.. I went at about 5 this morning and waited about 10 minutes. then swiped the card. 25 dollar limit sign was poted...but, it never said how "many" 25 dollar limit pumps you could do....I have a full tank of 87 in the FD. Now i just need to find some octane booster to be a little safe(r)

 

I'm gonna run out and fill up my 7 since I siphoned some of its tank for the mower.

 

Gas light on the protege, if there was a light it would be on in the RX. Gonna head up to mooresville exit today to pick up some 93 for the miata while I am at it

 

Thank goodness I found a place with gas. It pays to know people. A friend owns a gas station in downtown matthews, just got a tanker in today, won't pump until 6:30am tomorrow morning. Anyone interested?
