I would say it depends ont eh type of welding you want to do mainly. and the experience you have.
The stick is obviously for heaver material (thicker) where as the mig/tig is for thinner.
Also, stick is teh easiest to learn on. i don;t knwo if you ahve any experience.
that is all teh advice i can give.

I might be getting an fb for $300!!! it comes with 2 engines, he's not sure if they run or not, but I'd be putting a 13b in it anyway, and I would keep one of the engines to rebuild. he said the tranny seems good. he said it's the complete car just taken apart

Hey there John, long time no see. It was me I'm sure, I thought I saw you in there, but I don't bother anyone while they are eating. If you are off on the 20th of this month you should come by the car and truck show in Kitty Hawk at the catholic church on Kitty HAwk road. its from 9-3
I'm using like a sanding/small grinder type thing. it's working slowly, and its more even taking little bits off at a time, so, thats what I'm doin. I'm pretty much done now, except to like polish it out , I'm just gunna use car wax, and I have it really smooth already. I dont have anything else to do now, so I'm bored again
I guess I'll have to start porting Chris' engine, LOL
