October is one of the best months here. The weather is in the 70's and low humidity. What ferries are you talking about? The ferry from Hatteras to Ocracoke is free and runs about every half an hour. The other ferries from Ocracoke to the Mainland are toll ferries and you have to have a reservation. There is nothing to do on Ocracoke anyways. I'll be in Vegas from Oct. 20-25.
And there's a car show thw weekend of the 18th and 19th here in Kitty Hawk.

Hey Tony----did I see you at Kitty Hawk Pizza tonight? I thought I spotted you and when I got outside, I saw the fire truck.

Anyway, I'm back on the forum again. Don't know why I took a hiatus for so long.

OK, but now for the Northeastern NC guys, I was at U-Wrench-It in Va Beach last week and there were two 2nd gens in there. One of them was fairly complete and an 86 or 87 model NA. it is purple in color and is fairly complete. A lot of the dash is gone (radio surround, etc), but engine bits were all there except PS pump and I took the top of the stock airbox. The other 2nd gen was pretty well picked over but did have a set of 4 phone dial wheels on it.

Thought I'd pass it along for those who might need something.
