Damn, Zach, this is the EASTERN NC meeting place. Isn't Rock Hill like a LOT closer to Charlotte? THey have their own club out there. This here's an East Coast thang... (banjo in background).

As for a meeting, well, I dunno. I'm down for an OBX cruise, but it better be soon. I have the next four weeknds in a row off, but if we're gonna do it, we need to plan and let everyone know about it.

I would love to meet up, but my work/school schedule is killing me lately. But if somebody will plan it, we will come. I'm supposed to drive to the VA/NC border on friday to pick up my s5 engine for Senior Project (unless somebody can get me one cheaper than $125), I'm going to scan the junkyards around town all this week to make sure that guy is my best option. (and if you're looking, I want s5, if possible, thanks)

you have a senior project to chris? thats cool as hell, everyone at school is complaining about it but me. I'm trying to get an FB or FC with a blown motor and rebuild the engine. Either that or swap out my auto to a 5spd. =D

OK, Tony, let's talk about this here, and then start a new thread about it. I seriously want to do an OBX cruise, but it's been years since I've been out there, and I don't remember the fees and times for the ferries.

I'm gonna just pick a date. Let's try September 13-14. That's the last weekend I can make it for a while. Sound good? Can you fill us in on the needed info for the ferries? And we need to get the info out there soon, so that people can plan. It never caught on when I brought it up before, but I think if we build it, they will come!

OK, well, turns out the weekend of Sep 13th won't work for me. My duty schedule at work changed, so I will only have the next two weekends off, then the following three weekends I will have duty one day out of the weekend.

This weekend is a given out, because it's too short of notice fror most, beside the fact that it's Labor Day weekend, and I also have plans to go to Daytona. Next weekend, I am planning to go to SC again. So, the ealiest I could make it would be the first weekend in October. Not a great time for an OBX cruise... Or if it's just a Sat-Sun thing, I can go on the last weeknd of September, and then only if it starts from the North end.

So, I guess I am going to have to miss out. Maybe next year... again?
