Eastern NC RX7 meet...............
my hair is growing as we speak
The Z28 all depends on the insurance payment (found out in the morning) and if Dad trust me with 325 hp lol
and the guy thats looking at the RX-7 buys it, hopefully he will, i've got a ton of aftermarket crap he's getting for about dirt.
Joel wasn't exaggerating about the car, it's super clean, you could eat off of the engine. Or even the undercarriage for that matter, interior is almost perfect, brand new Kumho's, only drawback is it's an auto. But the auto still is a nice luxury, i'm getting tired of shifting. It'll still chirp second and do a burnout no problem
and now I can eat/drink/talk on the phone if I want without having to worry about anything but staying on the road. It's a gorgeous car.

no idea on the propane injection...nice truck George. Parents are saying no on the Z28 (they cant come up with a real excuse, they're just feeding me crap about it's too expensive, when it's not, I've shown them both all of the numbers, twice, still won't listen) Dad found a 1987 300zx in 'mint' condition, it has show-stock trophys it's so clean, that he wants me to get. He thinks I'm making a mistake by not getting it, even if that body style 300 is one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen. Parents suck sometimes.

I still won't have home service for another two weeks or so, but I couldn't keep blowing this off. As for propane injection, it requires spark ignition, therefore is not suitable for diesel engines. There was a book from SA Design publishers, called Propane Injection, but it's probably not available anymore. I have it, though...

Joel and Chris, sorry to hear about the near miss on the Z. Believe me, though, your parents were right in saying it was too expensive. The car itself wasn't bad for cost, but the insurance for a single under-25 male with a fast car is murder. You'd probably end up paying out more a month in insurance than car payments. I do agree, though, that the 1st gen 300Z'z were ugly *** cars.
I'm in Norfolk, VA, now. Maybe one day I will stop by and pick up my 88 workshop manual...

Ren,
Good to hear your back! I was wondering, because i didn't see you post recently. I guess there won't be a meet here any time soon. I was going to help, but we all know how things don't work out sometimes.
Let me know if your in the Havelock area sometime I have a Navy friend up there with you, he drives a silver Ford Contour SVT with Yellow graphics in the back window. Anyways I'm still waiting for a meet on the coast!
