well, right now, we're having electrical problems with the Tri-Tone Racer. Got in my FD alternator, bought a new battery, now we can't get this battery to stay charged. My diagnosis is that the increase in amps from the FD alt fried a wire, because we tested the battery and it's fine. So everything's on hold (and I'm searching frantically for a Turbo'd RX-7, stock or not, any generation) We'll keep you guys posted...and yes, Joel is catching up to me. LoL

chris,

trace your alternator wires. if one goes down to the starter then trace all the wires going from yoru starter to the battery. there is prolly a fusible link burnt away from teh larger amps.

it may not be obvious, some fusible linkes are jstu wires that burn in half inside the insulation. you coudl also try a wiring diagram.

maybe it will help.

i can;t say much, i got rid fo the lightning and 323 for my new truck. lol

 

not yet, but we know the guy at the car lot, and it's in great condition,and he is hookin us up like mad

and the blue book value is over 12,000, and chris is sellin his car with all his parts for 1200

 

how many miles? street miles? who owned it? hwo did they drive it? there HAS to be soem sort of catch for him to cut it that much. i don;t care how well ya know him

 

theres 96,000 miles, and whoever owned it babied it like mad. the car is almost mint. the reason he's selling so cheap is because he just started the business, and e got the car for lik 7000 and he fixed like 12 things, and he's only making 400$ off the whole deal, and he has to pay some guy 200 bux everytime he sells a car, so he's being nice, and we do know him really good.
