Ive yet to have a cold starting problem in my NA yet, and ive ran 20w50 Royal Purple nearly year round.

And its not a putting it to bed as in bad thing. Its a good thing as I can focus on gathering parts while saving money on fuel for the winter. I just got the oil changed in the Conquest, 10w30 castrol gtx from wally world and only set me back 30bucks with buying AAA batteries for the mp3 player. Sure beats the nearly $100 I spend for each oil change in the NA
Yep. I ain't scurred. Although the cold might stop me, I'll have to see how that goes. 20w50 is fine usually... but we had that one cold snap where it was between like 5 and 15 degrees for days. And I work at the coldest time of the night/morning. So yeah, wore it out.

That's what it got. And I switched to 10w30 for the colder months. No problems with it flooding. It always starts right up.

yeah flooding FC's thats a worry and a half... guy i talked to from the local Mazda dealership (rotary specialist) told me back in the day, they had a resistor that was put in line with some of the wiring either to the injectors or the pump, i forget which one and it instantly cured the flooding problems...

I used to always flood the TII during hot starts. Then one day I got pissed and floored the gas and the thing started. So now I know to just floor the gas if the engine is warm. It's so routine now that I don't even notice.

Actually that car has the stock exhaust system, mostly intact. So it's pretty quiet, and only revs a bit when I start it. I think I have the two quietest cars in the club!

Down here? We don't have to have front plates, so I'm pretty sure you can put whatever you want up there. Hell, even my own parents have one on their SUV... if they do it, it HAS to be legal!

Nah, I had the purple second gen that day. My first gen was lazy. Joey had the primered FB, so it musta been him. He posts on here occasionally.

Nice FD by the way, I heard you got one hell of a deal on that thing!

o my bad. Ya i remember urs.

Thanks, ya i couldnt turn it down.

Ya man i love fd's now. I used to have a rx8 and had a very love/ hate relationship. But fds are headaches sometimes, but its alot easier to love em.

Skylines are nice, but the prob with em is unless u know something about cars they dont attract as much attention as you might like. Unlike Rx-7s look more exotic. just my 2 cents

If you don't hate your FD then you haven't had it long enough Nah, they're good cars, just expensive to maintain. Kinda like a hot girlfriend... you put up with a lot more **** then you would with an ugly one.

One thing I like about my cars is they don't attract too much attention. Most people don't even know what they are. So I don't get ricers trying to race me every ten seconds.
