the widebody isnt really road legal/ready yet, but yes, im in all seriousness going to swap out my street tires for the slicks for auto-x on my black na. Ive put too much time into it to not run it as it is to have a baseline for future mods.
I already know I need a new front subframe as te front right lower control arm mounting bracket is 1/2"-1" shifted back.

It'll be interesting to see what a difference the slicks make. I'm gonna have less traction to work with this time around, but I'm hoping the Cheeto's lack of weight will help me get half-decent times.
well i know the slicks cold hold better than the street rubber, and if I have to drive to the event with them on the car then they'll be good and cleaned off and all the old caked on **** will have gotten burned off.

It's a good thing... 30-40 seconds of driving isn't going to let them heat up much.
I'm really hoping this course is a lot more technical, not the standard figure 8's stuff from the other times I've run. I guess we'll see. I'm pretty stoked, hence the fact that I'm not asleep.

yeah....i figure if i pass out now...im fucked, but i need a few hours at the least, then get up, maybe change the rubber, then change my finger bindings.
Yeah, ima go ahead and set my alarm for 7:30 so I can have plenty of time to decide things.

Ahhhh you guys lost me and I didn't know where Hooters was so I came home. I'm roasted. Good times guys. I'll see about putting pics up tonight, although I was working during most of your runs so don't expect much of your cars, unfortunately.
