subaru is great, WRX 2.0 in it, Stage 4 tuned, APS SR30 Turbo, on its light tune its much faster than my FD was, but that all said? i miss my FD majorly. i want another one.

Basicly, Running Coax lines from a Digital Cable box under the house or attic.
Hook up to the protector, Put some ends on and start programmin. Then bam. Good to go.

i used to work as a custom home audio installation tech.
we used to put together 60,000 dollar home audio installs. some rich dude wants a tv in his bathroom? then we do it. Worked with some of the most expensive audio/visual equipment on the planet. it was a hell of a job.

So today I realized my 3 year old junk caliper on the passenger front has finally stopped coming back in, itll grip the rotor fine, but wont release.... oh well cant totally complain, just time to get another spare from somewhere.

Eh, im guessing ive needed a new caliper for 3+ years, as it was frozen when i installed it but unfroze and was reliable up until 2 weeks ago. But im not real concerned with it yet, Pull-a-part has a 86 on the lot that I might go pillage for a pair of calipers to clean/paint/install, prolly go out sometime in the middle of the week as I also need to find another efan (for another car) and a rim for the dodge caravan.

 

Its hard to describe what driving an Italian Supercar is like... in terms of the ride, it'll never beat the Skyline GTR's ive driven, but in terms of outright comfort and style? there is nothing like it. at all. its absolutely insanity... listening to that Ferrari V8 HOWLING as you pass up over 6k rpm?

 

ok, i have a question concerning alternators. does anyone know if an SA model alternator (79-80) will fit a series 3 FB 84-85? i'm in really bad need of one and for some reason the re manufactured alternators for the 79-80 models are going for a fraction of the price of the 81-85 FB alternators. what is the difference? and will the 79-80 model alternator fit an 85 GSL?

Have you looked into putting a S4 alt onto the S3? more amps+installs just like stock, save a need to use a bigger connector for the post on the top/side of the alt.

 

yeah, i have considered doing that. but i'm money is a factor, i just paid a $200 enrollment fee for college out of pocket. do you still have the original alternator from the na? if so how much you want for it?

I dont think i have any alternators sitting around right now, all mine went to the four corners of the state more or less.
