stock those things only made 140 hp, or atleast thats what i found looking up info on it.

 

oh yeah weight issue, my car weighs 2400 pounds so its even lighter. i got almost 1000 pounds over an 09+ forester.

 

well i never had it dynod or anything, but searchin wiki (cause i didnt even know for sure) it said that the SOHC 24 valve 2.5 V-6 with the auto trans put out 155 in 95, in 96 the upd it to 163hp and 170 lb-ft. so adding the exahust and intake and chip i probly dont have what i thought i did. i thought stock they had at least 170 to 180. so i might not be at 210, probly more like 200 maybe a little less. i really have no idea.but it doesnt say anywhere how heavy the car is. but i know its alot heavier then yours.

 

intake and exhaust and chip? you probably got an extra 30 hp. remember your thinking of BHP which is different than WHP. so subtract about 40 horsepower for drivetrain loss.

its a SWAPPED scooby, so its not entirely wrx. plus its a nose heavy pig like any fwd car, it just happens to be awd. Then again the only way to tell if its an improvement over the other is to bust its ***** on the mountain.

 

wow youve never driven a Subaru before. and yeah its a GC WRX. and it weighs 2400 pounds. trst me it corners, VERY well. its a fast car man.

 

I didnt say that, im saying its a swap. Most swapped cars are not equal to the car they are trying to be. most of the time there is alot of other minor things that add up like weight reductions, or specific suspension components. thats like calling a swapped lancer an Evo, but no matter how you look at it its still a lancer with an evo motor.

But i guess till I drive it or see it in action ill hold my piece maybe...

 

its got full suspension set up, WRX brakes, the only thing it needs is an STi transmission since teh wrx one isnt as strong as it should be. besides the STi transmissions have DCCD

well....this is just my opinion...but it looks like it could use an evo-ish style rear wing and the wheels could be tossed in favor of something less....dark and with moar lip...or some gold meshies

 

its getting full Version VI STi aero parts, probably with STi wheels.

 

needs moar front mount lol, but still nice.

 

itll get an ebay TMIC or STi TMIC. works better and it keeps the stealth look of the car together. even with the STi Aero parts itll still look pretty good, without being over the top

that was 8500. and itll stomp all over any WRX :P once im full tuned ill be stomping on modded STi

Recently ran into a guy out in whitepine thats got two fairly young motors/tranny's sittig in his garage...A t2 engine with good trans and an na with a crappy trans...wonder how much i could score that crap for...

In other news ive bought the gaskets and studs to swap the head on the 'quest, so hopefully that bitch will be back running once more.

 

yea i was talking about the na block. i do have a t2 block. but it needs rebuild not ready and my motor is gone
