Hey... let's all just trade ******* cars. Yeeaah. We'll start some crazy car-swapping program. Better yet, here's some entrepreneurial thinking... we'll open up a shop at the foot of the Dragon and rent out sports cars equipped with slicks. $100 an hour for a TII. You break it, you bought it. And we're not liable for any law-breaking done in our rental vehicles.
dude that idea kicks ***! Do it! NAO! xD xD xD
im a mechanic so, we pick up a lift and ill do the repair work, balancing, aftermarket stuff
well id like to be moved by Winter... cause i cant drive the FD in the snow... its horrendous in the snow... like we're talking epic failure xD
hey lizard you got aim or msn or something?

Heh, dunno how much repair work there would be... we'd probably just be pulling our cars out of trees and hauling them to the scrap yard. It would be cool though... I wonder just how a business like that would work? If they can rent out Hummers in Gatlinburg for people to cruise in, I don't see why this idea wouldn't work. Insurance would be insane though, if we could even find anyone to cover that!
I've never had the chance to drive any of my 7's in a decent amount of snow. Chalk that up to latitude and global warming I guess. I'm sure it's pretty terrible. The FB might survive, with it's narrow tires and LSD rear. But it would still be Slidezilla on Ice.
Nah, I don't use any IM stuff. Just forums and the dreaded myspace.

im sure we could do that kind of business, but wed have to put some sort of waiver out and all that, im sure if we REALLY wanted to we could get it together and put it out there...
yeah turbos + snow = HELL just... slipping tyres and spinning everything... its bad xD
anyhow, yeah stupid myspace xD

We'd probably have to have like 8 pages of waivers and crap. Boosting in the snow isn't the best way to get around. I'm guessing you have ABS though, so at least you'd have a little help stopping it if you got it moving.
ABS is great for soccer moms driving to practice but for a racer, its a hinderance, kicks in way before threshhold braking is applied and over all isnt that good. the ABS on my Subaru got in the way of braking in the snow... i swear i slid right into curb once because the ABS decided to kick in about 28934728347891 years before i needed it...
seriously tho, we should consider the car rental thing...

I've never actually owned a vehicle with ABS, so I haven't had to deal with it during sport driving. But it would probably get on my nerves like auto seatbelts and airbags.I have no capital to put toward a scheme like that, only a couple cars, and I'm pretty picky about who I let drive 'em. It's a good pipe dream though.
and why would i sell it? MOTHER ******* MONEY!!!
and i wouldn't REALLY sell it unless someone showed me over 5k.

well the ABS is only off with the fuse pulled so itll take all of 1/10th of a second to put back in. i just keep it off because i dont like ABS at all xD
[QUOTE=Hellbent1stN2ndownr;8584149]if i wanted a 2 seater with a drop top i would have kept a vert.

hahaha, but this is one 2 seater drop top that looks better, and probably drives alot smoother than a FC vert. oh yeah...then the best part....x2 the fuel mileage.

i find it funny you didnt deny that the miata looks better. i'll still take 37 mpg over a smoother drive any day!

That's what I heard. TII for a Subie. Could be a profitable venture for you since the TII would probably fetch 3500 or so. Mileage is about to hit 105k. I'm done though, really. I shouldn't even be thinking about selling that car because I probably would regret it, and not be able to find another one down the road.
