It's my fault. I've been working too much and apparently I'm the center of the universe that is this thread. Yep.
I did see a brown GSL-SE on the way home from work. Whois?

Nah, I've started that thing up when it was around 0 degrees here last winter. It takes a lot more cranking, but it will start and run. I was also running 15w50 oil, which is why the starter had to be replaced after a week of that.
yeah ill probably stick with the 10w30 synth unless you think i should go with something lighter for the winter? although to be honest, im really hoping to not own it much longer... i love the car, but i really need to get the FD up, running, tuned and then move so... id like to find a buyer asap, *cough* JIMI *cough*
106k original miles, PO painted it Black Cherry Metalllic, got Infini Suspension, an intake and BOV.
looking for 3000 OBO
im gonna guess with the miles its at now, itll need a rebuild shortly, 1300 from Kevin Landers in Morristown.
Currently the car is in Connecticut.

Hey Josh, remember what I was saying about the 90-91 pulley snapping the crank?
That thing is nice though.

The FB doesn't run at all right now, it needs a new fuel pump. I've decided just to say screw it with the stock replacement and go ahead and buy a Holley with a regulator. So it will run again soon, and faster. As for your deal, I'd do it since it's basically what I was planning on anyway, but I can't drive that up there and the TII back down.

Yeah, the heat is warmer in the FB but geez, these aren't winter cars anyway... you gotta be nuts to drive these things up there. I would spend a cumulative hour and a half warming these cars up before and after work all week. You know how much gas that burns?
I still have 1500 bucks to come up with, so get back with me in like... December.

yeah thats fine, but i need to be out of here by then, thats the thing, i cant be waiting too long cause if you do come up here and drive the TII back, theres no way either of us are gonna make it with two turbo rear wheel drive cars loaded down with **** xD we'll die xD
the simple answer is....stay out of boost dorks. Its snow and ice, EVERY car sucks in both, its just that rwd has it a bit worse since the drive tires step out more easily. Just keep out of boost and you should do ok and keep the speed low...

Yeti, the first gen is always for sale. If you want it, buy it and that'll help me buy my TII back. Might wanna wait until I put the new fuel system in though.
