Eh, that's every week though. What day are we planning on doing this anyway? Friday evening? Maybe it won't be bad yet. The Dragon is calling me, and I have to get the TII up there or I'm gonna lose my self-control and end up going on the bike. I took the lil' Ninja down Williams Bend today. That little thing can corner. I rode for 2 and half hours today. Ma nuts are sore. I might need an intervention soon.
too much info jimi. me and 2 other guys finally figured out how to put the clips in and when we finally got the new rotor on and bolted on the new caliper, we found out ron's imports sold me the wrong set of pads....****** idiots. i may just have it towed to my dad's mechanic b/c i'm tired of ****** with it. hopfully it wont cost me an arm and a leg to have it done by a "pro."
yeah, looks like a friday afternoon/night run Jimi, which works out good I think since I still need to get my coat's from hellbents and a few other odds and ends.
This is why if you have the car already disassembled you take the old part with you so you can compare it with the new one. Means you dont walk out with the wrong part unless you meant to.

yeah, sometimes we forget the little ****, which is also why I never give back a core part until ive installed the new stuff, you never know what little bits the new part is missing. For example, when i replaced the rear calipers on my Conquest, I had to scavenge the rubber boots/plugs that the bolts slide onto/into from the old calipers before I could install again. And actually come to think of it, ive noticed that with alot of re-man calipers, you need to take bits off the old ones to fit to the new ones before its right, just cant take things for granted and assume the part will just go right in anymore.
But I dont see a need to tow a car to a 'professional' for something like brake pads, just exchange the pads that didnt fit for ones that do and be done with it. The only time im going to take my car(s) to a 'pro' will be to take the conquest to get the head replaced and get it painted sometime down the road, and the NA will get parts taken to a 'pro' to have bushings installed then to a body shop for its body work and a coat of flat/satin paint.

well feel free to come on over and help me out if you want too, i have nothing to do tomorrow...if you know me at all, you know i dont have much experience actually working on these things, and i get frustrated very easily.
yeah....its only brakes, if you think a rotor and caliper is hard try disassembling and reassembling drums and pads (that **** is a pain in the ***). But as for coming out, im gonna have to pass, as im not going to make another trip that way until at least payday, since I have to refill the NA midweek, then at least twice more plus pay my insurance this upcoming week.

I think I might have a solution to my bald tires... hey Jay, can I borrow your slicks??
heh xD hey man you dont just go running onto a road you've only been on once :P you drive it a couple times before you do a speed run, 80% run. so give me a bit of time :P then ill beat you all :P
do you guys think the miata can keep up with the 7's? it seems to do alot better up there than my old 1st gen, but thats understandable considering its lighter, and more powerful than a stock fb. what are the odds of me being able to keep up with the FC's?
He was a safe guy, and we need a nice safe SLOW drive up the gap.
Man this freakes me out, the days he passed i got a GXL and me and derrick were talking about him when Josh came and paid for the GS..
Josh said some kinda crack on Johnathan and i got kinda pissed off.. now.. i kinda wanna punch josh in the head for calling him "that little ***"
sorry guys, bad mood, im sick// and we lost a fellow member and friend.
not just a ROTARD!
18 years to young, james dean style and all..
we need a sticker for the club, for him.
unless.. no body want to put a sticker on the 7.

I've driven your Miata up there. It would have no trouble keeping up. The question is will you be able to comfortably. If you're following us and we're going too fast for your comfort zone or you're having to cross the center at all, then slow down! Drive at your own pace and don't worry what the rest of us are doing. Some of us don't have families and don't really care if we take a dive off a mountain

Brave? No way. Stupid? Yeah! Driving and riding is what I live for. I still have to watch out for other people though. I'd rather take a dive off a mountain than slide into the other lane and take out a biker.
yeah am i the only one who doesnt want to be like 80 and not able to walk? im sorry but i want to live a long life but not THAT long... when i lose the ability to drive then i think im done.
