I was talking to the GM today, they are talkiing about adding this meet to their site. They seriously are pretty excited about this!!! They are wanting to know how many people plan on comming and of course what day. This could turn into something pretty sweet. So if I can get a designated date sometime today to tell them, that would be cool.

 

The next meet will be held not this comming saturday but the following at 4:30 pm . Location- circuit city off of cedarbluff exit . If we need to we can find shelter at rookies bar across the street . And like always Im sure some of us would be cruzing somewhere or to my house after . We need everyone to come to this next meet so we can see whos down . So speer vert tell your hommies to try and make it to this one then the next meet can be at Twin city . Sound good ?

Tell them to start matching the price of malloy mazda and stock some simple items and I will bring them a bunch of FDs down there for the meets and all the other rx7 folk I can round up. Its just hard to support the local dealers when I call down there to get a price qoute(keep in mind I get wholesale pricing because of my dealer's license) and it turns out being 175% of the cost that I can call Malloy and get it for and malloy will get it to me faster.

 

I can see what I can do. I was talking to Landers when he had my motor and I needed a stock TII manifold gasket and I got it for $28. He said that was a steal. I mean if you need something within 2 or 3 days at cost I can do it. But it would be easier if you could call down there. I cant get everybody a discount, but if you buy **** tons of parts like you, I actually might be able to hook you up David. I will get back with you tomorrow on that. Lets try to make it not this comming up meet but the next. They want to see a lot of 7's out there. So we really need to get the word out on it.

 

Cool so next meet is @ circuit city off of cedar bluff Saturday Febuary 2nd 4:30 pm , david and jeremiah you guys should try and make it . Like I said earlier we need everyone to come to the next one to get things organized and see if we got some serious rotards .

I second what Jeremy said... we need a good showing at the Feb. 2nd meet coming up so we can show the strength of the club and maybe convince people that we're not just a group of post-teens who show up, talk ****, and smoke tires until the cops come. Time to get more organized.

February 2nd is Groundhog Day... don't think he's going to see his shadow, just a cloud of smog! So Jeremiah, tell them we're aiming for the weekend of February 16th. Is Saturday or Sunday going to be better?

 

Saturday or possibly Friday would be better for me.. I'll make it to a madatory meet like this.. but these meets where we don't really do anything.. or atleast I don't do anything but freeze isn't worth my fuel or time you know. If I lived in knoxville I'd be at all the meets..

I'm going to have to wash the car now.. hope the water doesn't freeze before it hits the car. And since it's the middle of Feb maybe I'll have time to reinstall my bumper and fogs and maybe fiberglass my speakerbox.

 

Oh yeah it would be awesome if we could get some sort of discount card.

got the R1 wing, its getting shipped soon but i think I'm going to only put 6 of the 8 holes i need to mount the wing. because i see that the 99 spec wing mounts using only 6 of the 8 r1 wing holes. so if i decide to change later i wont have to worry about getting those filled in.

 

pretty ******* sexy for an 8 to bad they dont have a package with the new 3 rotor in it.

Pfft... first meet for you! Here's one from my first meet in February of 2005.



Seems like we had more random sports cars than 7's, and most of our 7's were FD's. Look at that "little" Supra on the end... the TII wasn't quite operational at that point. The black FC is actually Knoxse7en's car, which became Battle Cattle's, and who knows where it's at now.
