Hey what size air compressor and tank would you guys recommend for painting and stuff?

 

I use a 17 gallon. It holds the pressure up pretty well with an HVLP gun. I wouldn't recommend less than 15 because you'd probably find yourself waiting on it a bit. People have painted with less though. The amount of air it puts out is more important. If I remember right, mine is rated for about 9 or 10 CFM.

I was pretty bummed when I was watching a youtube video and the guy showed me a 700 dollar lowes one. becuase that is more than I'm willing to spend.
