Yeti, I paid around 300 for mine at Home Depot if I remember right. It's a Husky. I've had it 3 to 4 years and I still fire it up on a regular basis. A good air compressor is a worthwhile investment. I can't paint anymore since I don't have a usable garage but I still use it for air tools and to quickly air my tires before events and stuff.

Not sure what other brands are good since I've never used anything else, but one from Lowes, Harbor Freight, Northern Tool, etc. should do you just fine.

Haha nah, I don't let videogames keep me from getting out of the house. It does cause me to violently kill people but other than that, no side effects.

I dunno about Saturday... I'm doing another one of my 17 mile hikes of stupidity on Sunday and I need to rest up for that. Hopefully this one won't involve throwing rocks at bears.

I wont be back out that way for a while longer it seems. They just put my grandmother in the hospital while she was visiting family up in MI, so Im going to be housesitting for longer. My bumpers and such will also be here in the next couple of weeks, and I cant find a digital camera to save my ***....

well i got everything to put my new bp motor together except i need to get some s5 t2 upper and lower intakes.

everything is here and im gonna start putting it together later..so the finale build will be using the following

half bridged s5 t2 irons
rew housings
s5 n/a 9:7:1 rotors
fd hardened stat gears
s5 t2 upper and lower intake
550cc primary and 720cc secondary injectors
and fd fuel pump

im gonna be using a megasquirt 2 v3 for the ems
and the entire car is getting rewired(every wire even lights everything)
im painting it with rustoleum royal blue
and i removed the sunroof and replaced it with a black tented piece of lexan.

im gonna start most of the build tomorrow but tonight i hope to get the motor together after i can get my finger to stop bleeding ( it got me good this time)

so all in all i hope to have a pretty strong car now and shouldnt have a problem running jayspec down with his toybo ..ill show him what n/a is all about, well till i get my toybo put on that is.iv been talking to some engine builders in pr that did the porting and they said that n/a i should be good for atleast 220hp most likley more. and when i throw the turbo and fmic on i should top 300hp easy.

sooo what do u guys think?

What are you planning for a exhaust system?

On my old bridge port rx i had 2 primaflow presilencers and 2 supertrapps still got harrassed by the cops went to a primaflow muffler and killed the power but it was quiet. Never did get it to have power and be reasonably quiet.

Now on my street port im running a single 2 1/2" primaflow presilencer with a magnaflow muffler its ok at idle but above 2k its pretty loud im sure the police wont like it. Im going to rethink the back muffler again.

I think he'll be okay, considering Niota probably only has one cop with the General Lee for a cruiser

^^hahahah i moved to philadelphia i dont live in niota anymore and i havent seen 1 cop here yet..

for the exhaust right now its all stock except no cats. i never could get it to seal up properly and it was pretty anoying with the stock motor so now its gonna be unbearable, not form the loudness but because it sounds so shity.

iv been thinking about 3inch and straight shot all the way back to the pass side with a canister i have but the canister im not to sure about. but then it will prolly be too loud.

Personally id rather have the more than reliable scooby than the shitic.

Though as an update I may be up on the dragon either saturday or sunday, but probably only for a single up and down run as I collect my fenders and tails and such. So when my bumpers show up I can go ahead and get all of that put together

thats funny since (knock on wood) ive never had any real problems out of the civic and since i work at a honda dealership i could pretty much do what i needed to it with out paying out the *** for it. not to mention all my experiece with subies is nothing but problems with the drivetrain even on ones with less than 20k on the odometer

theres nothing wrong with civic the things are almost bullet proof if left stock.they just have a bad rep in the aftermarket world because dumbass ricers mess them all up.

if u think about it almost everycar in todays market will be the pants off a 1st and 2nd gen rx7.. but personaly i alway say if u can afford 20k on a suby why not just invest it on a good car like your civic and have 1 bad *** car that u really want anyway

lol in a straight line they might. The rx7 was NEVER meant to be a drag car, its a sports car and as such has handling that cars today still dont have with very few exceptions. Like the 350z guys have alot of power, but they are heavy and get out maneauvered by nimbler cars like a miata and fc

a honda has a far superior suspension then a rx7. it has some troubles because its a front wheel drive but that can be corrected easily and then it has no troubles
