Well, after 3 weeks of waiting my front clear turnlamps from RX7.com are scheduled to arrive today UPS. Mike, I don't know what happened to that "fast" shipping but I emailed them to see if they were backordered and called them and the girl said she would call me back but never did. Anyway, not to bitch too much but they could of just told me it would be about 3 weeks. But at least I'm getting them.

Oh yeah, If any of you local guys know of anyone wanting a FMIC my GReddy is for sure FOR SALE. $450...I think that's fair since I haven't begun to even install it and the new price on it is $530.

Ok, I'm bitching again. I don't know how I feel about these clear turnlamps because they are NOT what I ordered!

Here's a pic from rx7.com's website of what I ordered:

Here's pics of what I got:

It looks like to me that they didn't have what I ordered and got some second-hand lights and shipped them to me. Not that they're terrible but I'm not into the Eruo look and this is what this looks like to me. FRUSTRATED!

I think there are 2 or 3 different styles, smoked or clear, black background and chrome background. Looks like the photo shows clear black, but you received clear chrome. The ones I've seen on eBay I think you have to specify which you want.

Well I'm gonna keep these as a backup (or I may sell them) and I ordered the one's with the black housing off of ebay. I talked to Chris at RP and he said he checked all the boxes of clears they have and none of them have black housings like their website shows. He said he would swap the smoke ones out with me and I may do that but we'll just see.

Brad, Go thru RX7store and tell them I sent ya. Xavier or Jason will hook you up!

As of now, I've had very little problems with RX7stores and shipping has been SUPER quick. I ordered some block off plates and they arrived 2 days later.. and Greddy pulley which they said it was back ordered, came in 1 week later..

Also, Jason is good about making things right.

Regarding those vs black housing.. I perfer black housing..

Phil, almost every part I've ordered for my car has came from Jason but he doesn't have the clear lenses with the black housings...all they sell are the smoked ones. I saw where RP had the clear ones with black housings and so I ordered them and they sent me what's pictured above. That's the way it goes I guess but I've already purchased a set of supposedly "JDM" turnlamps with clear lenses and black housings off ebay for $100. So we'll see how they turn out.

Naw man, I love the rx7store. Jason has been good to me.

It's not looking good for Nashville. Something "big" is supposed to happen at work and even if it falls thru, the fact that it could happen is preventing me from leaving the area this weekend. I'll just have to see.

I'm game for the BBQ providing that I don't run into the usual scheduling conflicts that seem to arise whenever everyone's getting together.

BNR is located in Branchville, AL.. Its off of I-20, Moody/Leed's exit. Its about 15-20 mins east of downtown Bham.

I'll start a new thread once I know which day will work for most of you.

Brad, Not really sure about the race so I was planning on heading out in time to meet for the class at 1:30, so say around 11:30 to play it safe? If you want to go down earlier let me know as I might join in..

Don, any news on the car?

Mike, I feel we should leave a little bit earlier than 11:30... say maybe 10 or 10:30 so we can make it for lunch.
The car is coming along pretty well. If all is well with the weather, I should have the interior wired and put back together today. I will probably need to study your car so I can put everything in the engine compartment back correctly. Let me know when you will be available.
