It also has some additional inputs/outputs if I'm not mistaken...But in all reality, it's probably not worth the extra money. Not when you can go get the techedge 2.0 WBO2 unit with nifty display (that uses the cheaper $28 sensor!) for much less than the extra cost of the 12.

I don't know where the cheapest place to buy one is now...I paid ~720ish for the LT-8 and laptop connection on the GB.

Rob,what size wheels do you have?I know joes are 16",i have a set of 205/50/15 falken azenis in the shed still in the wrap they were shipped in.I bought them for autox but i havent been out this year nor have i had the SC tuned yet.Im in need of $$$ im trying to pay my bills off and find me a house. We got my brotheres car running yesterday for bout 5 seconds, the exhaust is not hooked up from the header to catback so im thinking thats why it wouldnt run (not enough backpressure). The motor is very tight and sounds like a 16:1 compression big block through the header when its cranked over.We had to pour oil in it and jump it with a new battery to get it to start.Im taking 2 flanges to work tonight and have them welded together so i can connect the exhaust and try it again.Maybe monday it will be running.Ill try and post some pics of my brothers car,it looks good with them 18's.Hows the 13B going zach??Did that tranny work in your car?
Enjoy the pics if the forum will cooperate with me posting them.

Tire advice needed

I need help choosing what tires I am going to order. I have it narrowed down to either Dunlops or Falkens. If anyone has any experience or can suggest something better in a similar price range go for it. I will be autocrossing once a month or so once i get the microtech...by then I may need another set of tires anyway. Let me know what you guys think.

Rob

Dunlop

Falken

where are they playing?? I am going to see a band tonight but i don't know who they are, plus i think you need to be 21 to get into this place.

i ordered my tires the other day, got the falkens...should be here tomorrow, (Friday). I think I am going home at least one night this weekend so I will probably have them installed Saturday morning.
also, phone number changed this week, it is now 804-873-0688 for those want it.

from what he said, i would be driving cars around the lot, oil changes, ect. he said they are expanding the service department big time, and hes going to find somewhere for me to get in at. personally, i dont care what i do there, i will a.) be out of food. b.) working on cars c.) be in high school, working at lexus. d.) out of food.

i have to go back monday and drop off my application (yes, i had an interview before i even filled out an application ) and hes going to talk to me more about it then.

the only thing is, i used 1/4 tank of gas going to and from the dealership today, so i might be in the market for an economy 4 banger. who knows,

haha, I thought maybe you were still drunk from last night when I started reading that. Is anyone in the market for...lets say a black 88 TII?!! I am so damn aggravated right now. Everytime I get something fixed I think ok, should be pretty reliable now, not much else can be replaced. Well, changed the tranny fluid AGAIN last night to fix the grind going into 2nd gear and noticed a lot of oil under the car. I can't figure out exactly where it is leaking from but it is either the oil cooler lines or the oil cooler itself. Regardless, it is another $160 or $170 just to fix the lines, God help me if it is the oil cooler itself. The starter is on its last leg i think, just clicks when I try to turn it over sometimes and one of the rear calipers needs to be rebuilt, probably the one i attempted to rebuild over the summer. sorry to bitch but damn...i don't expect it to end but is it going to slow down at some point?!! Oh yeah, got the tires on yesterday, they seem pretty sticky...until next time.
