I think we're going peripheral port on the RX-7 project. That means we need a carb and distributor ignition. Any suggestion on where to find a carb and what I'm getting into? I think I'll use the first gen ignition, as long as the distributor fits the 13B.

This is gonna be crazy. Variable length intake PP engine...kinda like the 787B...minus two rotors.

wow, well first gen 13b's have a dizzy, so you could use that. your going to need a nice size carb for that p-port so you can get a decent amount of fuel. that is going to be crazy though. good luck

I'll just club her legs so she can't run, then you have no excuse.

maybe sometime during thanksgiving you all come down for a fun run near my house. It's a day trip but well worth it for the roads and the view is breathtaking.

Well another motor bites the dust.I was just cruising along about 65 down 460,about 15% throttle and the car just died.Coasted to a stop, try to start again with no luck, got the tow dolly and brought it home.Got home and it started but motor was shaking badly with no power and sounded weird out the exhaust.I think just 1 seal gave out this time,i dont have any money to fix it and am in the process of having my house built. So the car will be sitting for awhile,i havent decided what im going to do with it,or even fix it.Im working on a deal with a 3rd gen right now,but not sure how thats gonna go.Well one things for sure supercharger kit for sale, everything needed right down to the injectors.

Yeah the autox owned. It was my first one ever. I need to use a little less throttle to combat the understeer on the dirt, but VMP it should hook up pretty well. Lowering the front pressure before my last run yielded good results. Overall I improved 4 seconds between run 1 and 4, so I'm happy. Finished up with a 42.970. I'm happy with it for my first time ever. My friends got some good video of me, and you can hear zach heckling me in my non rx-7. Thanks Zach. I can't wait for VMP. Of course prereg is all full so I couldn't register. Hopefully there will be spots in the 3rd heat again. I got lucky before. I got Dave Ogburn's number, 61. By the way, what's the deal with him? He's registered under 2 cars for VMP; his cobra and his spec v. Is his son driving the spec v or something? And Zach, can I get a ride next event? I need to learn!
