alright guys well i have to trouble shoot my S-5's ignition system. I am running an error code 3 which is the crank angle sensor, but ive tried two different CAS's and now luck. I dump the codes, and before i even try to start it it runs a code three, which to me doesnt sound right. I'm not getting any spark at all. I changed out both the coils, and just kinda wondering what i should do next. I think im going to start tracing wires, and checking resistance. If anyone has some ideas please let me know. thanks
P.S. I got my TO4E with HKS manifold now :-)

Hey Bryan, I talked to Nelson (guy I suggested you call about strut) and he said a friend of his was there at UWI getting the rotors as someone named Brian was getting a strut off the same car. I am assuming that was you.
so cosmetically heres what i need driverside fender, 2 hoods, and the drivers side headlight cover, and the passengerside headlight motor. i might need those. if anybody can tell me how much those would be but if theres dents in anyu ofthem itd be better if i went to coxtons.
thanks WD

Hey guys, I've introduced myself, a loooong time ago on this thread. I live over in Chesapeake, and I'm the owner for an 85 gs. Anyways, back when I first introduced myself, I had just had my 12a ported and rebuilt. I was working on a fairly mild street setup, weber arb, and all of the other assorted goodies. I didn't like how that was turning out, so...

I got a little crazy, and decided a several thousand turbo project was necessary. Well, It's finally done, after about 2 years since I bought the car. I got it started hte other day without much trouble. It was running rough, so I went out, and bought a timing light. Went ahead, and set the leading timing to factory, just to get it running. Checked the trailing, and I could tell it was waaaaayyyyy off. Keep in mind I had to lock the mechanical advance on the dizzy to avoid detonation under boost. That could have been the reason the trailing was so far off. Anyways, I just the car off for some reason, try to start it, nothing. Turns over, but that's about it. I have spark and fuel. I even let it sit for a few days, and it isnt much better now. This thing is driving me up a wall! If anyone has any suggestions, know's much about weber carbs, or anything to that effect, drop me a pm, or post something. https://www.rx7club.com/1st-generation-specific-1979-1985-18/few-teaser-pics-my-turbo-project-335181/, thats a thread for more information. Thanks for any help guys

Jake,,
Just curious is the weber designed to work with a turbo? Some carbs have a problem with a blow through design. Feul injection would be the way to go if within the budget. Just my 2 cents worth,,
Randy........................
P.S. PM me if you have any questions, i'll try 2 help

Yeah, I only have FB's Bryan. I am strange, but I like everything about the FB better except the steering. I just need a faster one.
Sudox_E, that is a sweet setup. If you start to think about FI you might want to get to know Carl Stone. He is working on a homebuilt FI for a 12A first gen.
Weather looks like it sux, so I am not going out to the RX7 meetup at Pembroke. Sorry. I also spent the day with my wide in the emergency room yesterday. She is OK now, but it was a long tiring day. She i sfeeling about 80% now. She hopes to be back to normal tomorrow or so.
I am hoping to make the autocross at Little Creek Amphib base tomorrow. I think I can squeeze one more event out of my rear tires (new ones are on the way). But they are totally slick Hoosiers, so if I is raining like this tomorrow, I am not going.
