Mazdaformance.com has brand new Mazda turbos for 93-95's on a clearance now. Go to:
http://www.mazdaformance.com/
and you will notice that it says 50% off.
Then you go to RX7 then to Clearance and you will see the turbos down near the bottom. If I read it correctly, the final price is about $1400. Can't be bad for new ones, can it?

Will at Autodemics, but he is located in Great Bridge (Chesapeake)
I have seen some they have done, but I can't really say anything about them. The cars looked OK.
If you are looking for turbo people I have often heard good things about Millenium Autosports, and I like the guy that runs the place. But they are a Honda shop, so that is a negative, but they can speak rotary.... I would still suggest Will though.

Looks like this is the next one planned:
When:
Saturday, October 16, 2004 at 4:00 PM
Where:
Jillian's
333 Waterside Dr
Norfolk, VA 23510
757-624-9100
Notes:
Parking will be at the top floor of the parking garage connected to Waterside.
Go here for more information or contacts:
http://rx7.meetup.com/55/events/?eve...&action=detail
-------------------------------------
Jillian's is on the Second floor of Waterside, just in case you didn't know. It is a video game bar in case you have never been. Kind of a cool place.
I am working on a meet here in the near future:
http://www.gforcekarts.com/index2.htm
Basically it is an indoor kart racing place with a nice meeting room they say use can use the room for any sort of meeting. I haven't got a date scheduled yet, so if you have a good idea of a good date for it, let me know.

Need some wheels
I just rebuilt an 86 Sport with an 89 motor, and started autocrossing. Unfortunately the tires I have SUCK, but they'll do for the street. I'm looking for some 5 lug GXL wheels to put some autocross tires on - anyone have some they want to let go for cheap?

Where have you run so far? I was out at the Little Creek event. I plan to go to (at least Saturday) the event on Oct 2-3 at Pungo. The 5 bolt rim bolt pattern is fairly common. I don't know what the rim offset is, but 5 bolt Nissans, Fords, and DSM's have the same bolt pattern. If you are running in Street Prepared where you can change rim size check out those as possible sources for cheap rims. If you are running stock, you need to stay with stock diameter, width and offset (+-0.25").
I finished the break-in just in time to go the Evolution driving school phases 1 and 2 at Pungo in August. If I'm in town this weekend, I'll try to make at least one event. I was in NC during the last ODR Autocross, and I was trying to get a second set of rims for better tires - Falken Azenis Sports - prior to racing again. The tires that were on the car are some el-cheapo Pep Boys specials - they're fine on the street, but oh-my-god are they ever bad on the track.
The plan was to run stock class with this car, but the mod bug might bite me sooner than I think.

That is cool. Look forward to seeing you there. My engine rebuild took a setback recently. Rotor houseing I thought were good turned out not to be. I have some pitting around the outside O-ring that may prove to be a showstopper. We'll see.

When is the Seafood Fest? My wife and I have gone in the past. It is a good deal.
JB weld might actually work on this rotor housing... I just have some pits in the cooling jacket... That is not what I am going to try to do... but it might actually work.. It is at the outside O-ring, but near the exhaust port.

Anyone besides me and Nathan going to the autocross school (Saturday) and/or the autocross (Sunday) this weekend? If so I plan to have my car there, look for me. It should be a fun time.
BTW, how did things go Wedensday night at Langley? Did you win Kenny?

I'll be at the school, but I don't want to compete on sunday... you'll know why when you see my tires. I have a set of Yoko AVS comin next week, so I'll run in November's Ax. I still love the seat time the schools give, even if the car is sliding all over the place.

Cool there will at least be some RX7's out there. I have been told that the entire ODU Formula SAE team is going to be there. Maybe we can do something to make them faster at next years FSAE championships. I wonder if they are bringing the formula car.
I wanted to come, but I can't afford it. They had to put the driving shool on a week where I don't get paid. Oh well, maybe another time. Just installed the RB holley kit, and a holley blue fuel pump, regulator, and a liquid filled Pressure gauge. Oh my, what a difference from the stock Nikki. Still, I think it's too much carb. Soon as I get som $$ saved, a Sterling will be on the way.
