Time to upgrade from the stock suspension. Started with the rear shocks (see picture). Not sure what to do with the rear springs, whether to get the respeed "coilovers" or just get some regular springs: Eibach/Racing Beat/something else that pops up on the forum.

I have respeed coilovers for the front, but haven't decided what shocks to put in. I'll most likely go with Tokico blues, as of now I don't think I want to spend the extra money on the Illuminas.

Thanks to Vlad I was able to get a last-minute replacement for my toe link and got all my rear bushings out, in, and installed yesterday. Still have a bunch in the front to do. Ordered new tires today, planning to mount em up this weekend. I've mentioned it before but I'll say it again... having access to a lift, alignment rack, and all the shop equipment is so worth the $20/month membership at the garage club.

So i pulled out the compression tester and ive got 80 psi solid in both housings. Before i blew a front main seal, i was set up at 9psi off of the waste gate (GT35R), before the seal blew, i was only getting to 5.5psi, and i checked all my hoses three times for vaccuum leaks with no avail. I was able to get her to start and idle after replacing the front main seal, but now she refuses to start. Motor is a JDM 13B-REW with unknown mileage and chassis has 135k on it.

everything im looking at is leaning towards rebuild. Thoughts?

How do you know you blew your front main seal? My s4 TII made 84 and 88 psi and still runs and idles strong. Doesn't pull much vacuum. I'd begin to worry if the pulses were uneven during the compression test rather than having low numbers.

That sucks man, at least you know who did it. I'd bring a copy of the quote from Mazda when you go talk to them so they don't think you are full of B.S.

I pull great vaccuum. and i knew it was bad when i was hemoraging oil out the front of the motor, and after pulling the crank pulley off, i saw the front main seal sitting inside the front cover on the E-shaft.

Had Mr. Mike Quinn come look at it, threw a set of fresh plugs and leaned out the tune a bit, now shes a lot better, still need to do some on the fly tuning. cant really tune and drive so ill figure something out.

Pictures sizes and offsets would probably help you sell them. And I'd make for sale threads.

Thanks. I was going to post in the wheel thread but figured I would give you guys first dibs, plus I'd honestly rather do a local sale. At any rate, they are 17 x 8.5 fronts, 17 x 9.5 rear, +42 all around. Purchased from memoryfab about four years ago for $1400 plus shipping. :/ . No more rx-7, so no real need for these anymore. They do not come with tires. Condition-wise, they are great aside from one wheel which needs to be refinished. (Chipping around one of the lug holes). Obviously these are three piece wheels, rare as hell, and can be yours for a steal!

Does anyone know when Import Week is in OC this year? Is it the same weekend as the OC car show (june 8&9)? It's not during Cruisin' OC (hot rod) right?

Tony D dirt dropped hard and fucked up the rear passenger side suspension on his car at DN. Did you guys see it? There's a video, it was a purple FC.

Did you wreck bad Debo?

Your car is going to be awesome with those on and 315's Mike, I can't wait.

Hello and welcome, are you new to the area or just new to Rx-7's?

Also, before I give you any aid in finding a tuner for your car I need to ask you a couple questions about your car. How long have you had it? What aftermarket parts are on it? What are you tuning it for?
