Why are you trying to go smaller?

PS I have an oem t2 one sitting around and I know that doesn't help you

most people that road race FCs run no rear bar. I've been autocrossing with no rear bar for a while but am having trouble tuning out the understeer.

I threw the stock rear bar on before the last autocross, and now I want to try the stock 12mm bar because it's about half way between the 14mm bar and no bar.

It allows you to run stiffer rear springs to help combat the FC's complete lack of anti-squat in the rear suspension's geometry.

I know the very basics of suspension geometry. I would not be able to look at two different platforms and say which one has a more advanced suspension design. From following your build thread it seems you have a good understanding of it, you learn this from speaking to veterans at track days or you know of any good reading material?

Thanks! I'm thinking about picking up an E30 from my coworker for ~$600 and turning it into an autocrosser.

I'm probably not has knowledgeable as I'm coming off but I do read a lot about it. I mostly read a lot about it online and hang out in the race car tech sections of forums

Picked up a 16ton hydraulic pipe bender today, does piping up to 3 inches, and made a crash bar for my FD! now i just need to throw it on the fram machine so i can get the measurements and weld it up. For LESS than the price of having one made, i got a pipe bender, 10 ft of pipe, and a cold 6 pack to help pass the time. Once this is done, i might offer my services to others in need!

Got my wheel studs in and the wheels are now on the car. Just a little annoyance I have: "blue threadlocker" in a red container, and "red threadlocker" in a blue tube.

If you want to spend a bit more than that e30 I know a guy who has a car that could be used for RallyX and would be willing to sell it for the right price

I'm half tempted to try an AutoX (can't make the 20th tho) with no power steering but I have a feeling I'm going to embarrass myself. I'll be back in the saddle once my rack is rebuilt.

I want to go to an event at FedEx, is it best to go to the WDCR ones? As in I am eyeing up the one on 6/30.
