For those that might have been following my thread above, I have an update! The car is fixed. A rubber cap blew off the intercooler causing a giant vacuum leak. So, I redid all of the vacuum caps today and put screw/band clamps on them all. Also put my new TPS back on today and adjusted her... she's running like a champ. So, I won't have to cancel my St. Louis trip after all. haha, yay!

 

Sounds good, I don't think they will let me in, I don't look much over 17 even though I'm almost 20.

 

We will try to sneak you in. hehe... this should be fun.

I wonder what my friend will think about this.. I didn't tell her about this part of the trip. LOL

JuiceH... i've been prepping my girlfriend for weeks now, just for the fact that we'll be in the same building with a strip club... haha I could just see the look on her face rolling up and not shared that piece of information. I can tell this car outting is going to be a classic (even though I won't be there for all of it).

No one under 21 will be able to get into Penthouse unless you have to have an excellent ID. They ID every person who walks through the door and the bouncers will throw you on your *** is oyu give him any ****.

I'll be bringing along my state ID in case one of you little ******* looks like me.

The owner of the Dyno is buying everyone who participates in a dyno a pass. If you aren't paying for dyno time then you won't get a free pass.

 

It's looking good, will look better once he gets your fuel parts today, then he can really get it going

I don't know if you recall, but I chated with you via email about a year and a half ago reguarding your setup, when I was looking into upgrades for my car. Are you still running a TD06? Hey all, just catching up on the thread and wanted to throw out a couple of things:

Everyone who dyno's their car gets a Penthouse Club pass, but they're not "VIP" passes, just entry passes. It is highly unlikely that anyone under 21 will be able to get in, as mentioned by another poster above.

Please make sure everything on your car is WORKING! It sucks to spend your hard earned dyno time debugging broken stuff instead of tuning for more power.

If you are making big power and can't put it down due to tire spin, make sure you have a clutch that is up to the task - you cannot spin the tires on my dyno, and if your clutch is the weak link you will find out in a big ugly smelly way.

The dynapack bolts to the wheel hubs, no chance of flying off into the woods as mentioned above. However the hub adapters require "normal" lug nuts. If you have tuner lug nuts (spline drive, etc) they will not work. I have a supply of metric 12x1.5 and 12x1.25 lug nuts, if your studs are something else, please bring standard lug nuts or contact me directly and I will obtain some (steve@lunch.org).

That's all I can think of right now, except to say I'm a big rotary fan and am really excited to have you guys coming in.
