Hey guys (and gals if there are any), I'm heading over to STL with my gal pal EARLY in the morning. Whenever I get off of work this morning (anywhere between 4:00-5:00 AM Eastern), I'll be going home to clean up and head over your way. Hope we make it just fine... it might take 3 tanks of gas to get there, though... I'll hopefully get there in time to see all the Saturday cars tune From what I understand, I'm in the afternoon... wooohooooooo! Anybody want to see a stock turbo spool to 18 psi??? Yikes. LoL And I'm still waiting on the brake job to be finished... man oh man.

 

If you want big bangs then you need to follow me on my way down there. That is if I make it. I got the injector orings and everything is being put back together as I type this. If all goes well you guys should see me late tonight maybe. But if things don't turn out any better I think I may not be making it down there.

I don't have the damn bung for the wideband on my dp... so unless the tuning can be done through the tailpipe... i'm screwd.

I do have a really small cat... one of those bullet kinds that is like 6 inches long....

I tried to call Steve to confirm that he can do it through the tailpipe, but nobody was answering...

yes, yes, just talked to Steve and he said don't worry.

 

OK, scratch that, I can't make it. The car didn't even make it home from the shop. ******* fan isn't working now.. Only way to keep the temps in check is highway driving.. I'm not risking overheating this engine, or pulling over for 15-20 mins after every 5 miles of non highway driving. *sigh* Thank god I got an aftermarket temp guage.

I was really looking forward to this too... Have fun guys, I'll be there next time!

Oh, and who ever was next in line for the next free pass for show-me's can have mine, and you owe me a lap dance next time!

 

So, I guess I get the furthest traveler award since the Chicago guy can't make it... hehe. j/k Sorry your car isn't cooperating. UPDATE: I got the brake unfrozen today... still planning to make the trip as planned. Dyno time to see what this TII can do! lol You guys might recognize it... it's eriksseven old car... yes, the one that's had about 5 rebuilds. It's running solid now.

 

I'll probably be there later, I gotta run to the auto parts store when it opens, the 02 sensor plug(that goes into the harness) decided it would just fall off. Eric, I'll call you if I can't make it. Will there be tuning tomorrow?

 

I'm here...got my FD back and i love it...ron did a good job...can't wait to get it tuned tomorrow.
