How long do we have to decide? I'd love to get a race gas/high boost tune, but i won't know if i can make it until after christmas.

 

Steve will be here no matter what. Your advantage of sending in a deposit now will guarantee you a spot. Steve can only tune 6 cars a day if everything moves smoothly.

Yeah, so make sure your **** is running right or somebody might get F'd out of dyno time since the guy at Axis doesent like to work on Sunday.

If we need sunday on the dyno this year we'll have it. I've already spoke with Ron and he knows this. Last year we had a mis-communication, that's why we didn't get sunday on the dyno.

I can get a NX intercooler sprayer for real cheap. Will this do any good since it is already cold as hell in Feb?

I hopefully will have the turbo S2000 ready for Steve to tune the AEM. I don't think any af61 cars will be able to make it?

I'll definitely get you the ($200) deposit as soon as I can. How does this work? Do we meet up as a group or do we just go to Belleville at a scheduled time for tuning??? I've never done this before. I'd really have to get my session in on Saturday Feb 4th since I'm traveling(4 hours) and I'd have to get back to town for Sunday. Will that be a problem? Thanks.

This is what we did last year.

Steve comes in friday evening, we all went out for dinner and a few drinks.

Saturday morning, we all met up at the dyno first thing in the morning (I'll let everyone know what time in a few weeks). We all basically hung out, watched our cars get tuned. Saturday night, we'll all be going out .

Sunday, we'll start the tuning late morning (Because of the obvious ).

If anyone needs a hotel, let me know and I can post some hotel choices.

 

Well, Friday I'll have to work... so no dinner and drinks for me : ( I'll arrive sometime on Saturday...hopefully close to noon or early afternoon... so I guess I'd just meet up in Belleville. And I have family in St. Louis, so no hotel will be necessary. : )

Everyone needs to make a checklist before Steve Kan arrives. This is what he said in an earlier post.

"Here're some items to inspect/replace before the dyno. New plugs (less than 1k miiles), new fuel filter (less than 5k miles), inspect spark plug wires, oil change, full tank of whatever gas you normally run, inspect tires (no nails or anything that can fly out during the dyno), inspect coolant fluid (change if necessary), clean air filter, put all the mods in that you plan to run before coming to the dyno (I don't think there'll be enough time to install them on the same day)."
