Steve Kan Tuning in the St.Louis and Surrounding area. **2nd Round**
Eric, I'm trying to get Ron's turbo in Before Steve comes... Also i have to get 350 + dyno by then. If i get it in time, can i just pay for it that day?
We are thinking about recording this dyno so we have a proof this time of what the AF61r's numbers actually are.

Everyone needs to make a checklist before Steve Kan arrives. This is what he said in an earlier post.
"Here're some items to inspect/replace before the dyno. New plugs (less than 1k miiles), new fuel filter (less than 5k miles), inspect spark plug wires, oil change, full tank of whatever gas you normally run, inspect tires (no nails or anything that can fly out during the dyno), inspect coolant fluid (change if necessary), clean air filter, put all the mods in that you plan to run before coming to the dyno (I don't think there'll be enough time to install them on the same day)."

Hey don't feel bad, my first RX7 was a stock 86 N/A. I would always tell people how fast it was until I actually raced someone
Talk about a reality check.

What is the last day you will be accepting the depsoits? It may be close, johns over seas but has told me it will be done when he gets back, but it's been like this for months. The motor is in, I heard over the phone. It might not happen in time
who knows.

I'll be leaving at 7:45pm friday to pick Steve up from the airport. We'll then stop someplace on the IL side to eat. Anyone want to ride with me?
We did this last time, it was pretty fun......

Lets meet at DR Autosports (Davinci). I'll be there all day but we'll be leaving for the airport at 7:45pm. If you want to meet us at the restaurant instead, that's fine.

I know I'm sounding like a total newb, but besides tuning a particular engine management system or air/fuel controller... does Steve do anything else as far as tuning the car? Just off the top of my head... things like TPS adjustments, timing adjustments, resetting a baseline idle etc etc... do his services extend beyond just tuning the engine management system?

He'll do whatever it takes to get your car running the best without tearing it apart.
