What the hell is that buzzing noise right when I regain traction after a slide? I know it's not a redline buzz. It's something else.

Possibly oil level. Usually when I'm getting crazy and I haven't checked my oil level, I'll get the oil level buzzer when sliding to the left. On a few of my FCs that sender was gummed up and stuck, so even without oil it wouldn't trip the buzzer.

Coolant sensor is in the radiator, oil sensor is in the pan and I believe it uses the buzzer in the gauge cluster. Don't disable the buzzer, fix the problem. If it's oil slosh add a baffle plate.

hmmmm. I'll check the oil level. I just had an oil and coolant change about 1200 miles ago. But I'll look anyway. It could be the slosh if anything. It happens when I change direction violently or when I regain traction violently. So it's very possible its that. I'll check the levels and If they're fine I guess go the baffle plate route.

Just a thought for folks that want to nuke the buzzer ... on one of my FCs I pulled the buzzer off the cluster board and ran a plug and wires to a shift-light that I mounted on the idiot light bezel. So I still have the warning effect, but it's a big Oh **** light instead of an annoying buzzer.

it's more than likely coolant buzzer. checking fluids every other day, and during every track session is only common sense. you could cut it out of the cluster and never be bothered with it again.

mine was stuck on for a week anytime i drove my car, when i had the coolant temp wire grounded, oil was good...

before someone replies with a smart *** remark, Yes i cut it out due to my reasoning above, and i have had, and wont have any issues relating to it so keep your stupid comments to yourself.

Thought you guys might like this. High comp 20b, Haltech, GT42, its hard to send it home evertime we finish with it. haha. Throttle response is ballistic to say the least. In for a water injection setup and a cold air box.

Seriously, disable it. The one in the blue car went off even when it was wired directly with a new sensor in place. **** happens, turn the music up.
true on all accounts.

Yeah my temps don't heat up rapidly or anything. The most they get up to is 90c (194f) I checked mt levels, they're all good to go. I think It may just be the slosh.

That doesn't matter though. It's not rocket science adapting s chassis coils to ours.

it comes down currency and how much one is willing to spend.

well its a drift/daily I got for 1500 bucks. its from maine originally and runs great. the passenger side rocker was tiger hair/ bondoed over without fixing any rust so the entire underside of the rocker eventually became non existent during my ownership. I was laid off for 2 months and can do the work myself so I did. I didn't have money for any other parts so whatever. rest of the car is in good shape, just some very minor surface rust underneath and needs some paint. (going from red to black anyway). I felt it was necessary with how far gone the rocker was. Everyone told me to junk it and get another car but sentimental value made me fix it I guess.lol. and yes, I did completely re-structure the entire back section, probably stronger then OEM.

like I said, sentimental value. and it doesn't have a sunroof so I like that (the sunroof on an FC just bugs me, I will never have a sunroof in mine) and after my swap I can insure it as an na still. no power anything or abs so less wiring too. it hasn't been that hard to fix honestly and I don't mind. I'm not a slacker so I get **** done (when I have the money to get things like this done). this is a "someday it'll be great" project. that's way in the future.lol
