Every 7 is a never ending project. Therefore, putting that in the title would be redundant.

Seriously, you have no idea how much I want\need to get this car done. I want to start on my FD! The LED mirrors are just something I came up with because I was bored I like tinkering with ****. It pertained to this car so I decided to show in here rather than make a new thread. They have in no way slowed down the progress of the car.

Hopefully Dave you aren't talking about me, A. if you are then can you read ? If you can re-read what I have said, B. if you are then, you dont know me or what I have done so don't assume. C. if you arent talking about me then whom are you so I can make fun of them also.

just as a side interjection I have built 10+ Rx7's from the ground up with my bare hands as much as an unibody car can be "frame" up resto'd I have done it, fyi.

^^^ joking or not... there was some seriousness in your post, or you wouldnt have wasted your "$90 an hour" salery to post it......... some people dont have the luxury of having a high paying job, so they/we have to do things a little slower than others...... i HAVE also built a fc, so i can respond with some sort of knowledge of what is invested (time and money) into his project...... nobody is forcing you to check/read all of juiceh's thread.. it may be slow, but it is making progress! and since he is doing it right, he purchased everything he needed before paint and body...so when he gets it back from paint and finishes installing all those parts, it will be relatively done! minus a few things here and there he will purchase along the way!

juiceh........ the PROJECT is coming along great! havnt dabbled in this thread since you got the kit from rx-heaven..so its been a while....... i truly cant wait to see this thing painted with the wheels on it...... makes me miss my fc and dont let the little people get you down (i know you dont!)

You contradicted yourself saying "joking or not theres some seriousness" Yes I was joking, no I am not serious and even people that make 90.00 an hour have off time, hence the joke, you guys need to watch some monty python or read a dictionary about sarcasm and more importantly roasting.

Roasting:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roast_(comedy)

notice in the URL itself its self titled as COMEDY!!

A roast, in North American English, is an event in which an individual is subject to publicly bearing comedic insults

Everyone chill its just one guy giving another guy massive **** about something that is a subject that is "just the way it goes"

You'd think, making 90 bucks an hour, you wouldn't have to keep flaunting it.

Anyhow, this thread is awesome. It's classified in my book as a "Baller Thread"

Thanks for the kind words guys.

The Rx-8 ***** were obtained through an FDNewbie Imports GB. They are currently running a 2nd GB located here:
https://www.rx7club.com/fdnewbie-imports-172/gb-interest-illuminated-rx-8-shift-knobs-2nd-gb-705143/

These ***** are NOT cheap. I got mine at $190 a pop shipped... Due to the current exchange rate they are more now though...

The blue does NOT show up right in those pictures. The camera had a very hard time capturing the actual color and I gave up trying to get a better pic. If you look at the reflection of the blue on the desk in the picture above that is more along the lines of what the actual blue looks like.

The Original red LEDs were removed and replaced with different colors.

I've tried a few different colors and done a couple conversions for some other club members. Here are some pics of various colors:

Orange:

Green:

Yellow:

Aqua:

Pink:

UltraViolet:

The color that the UV shows up in this picture is more along the lines of what the blue looks like in person.

Probably, just not Mazda OEM. $190 shipped was actually a good deal back before the dollar's free-fall, they're probably quite a bit more now.

Looking awesome as usual Juiceh!

I guess I will never understand how someone can be so proud of their car when they just pay other people to do all the work.

When you want a job done right, sometimes you have to pay a professional to do it.
