God this car is taking forever dude, actually hate body shops because of this, it always seems like there is something holding it up. Read the whole thread looks great, i will check back to it in 6 months and see that its not done :P
with a body kit like that i would rather wait then to have the body shop rush things. you don't want them to just slap on the fenders and stuff and not have the curves aligned. the car is turning out great. i can't wait to see the end result
Yeah i understand I really do, I have read the entire thread, but how long does a car sit in a shop before its not really a car, I mean you do have to drive it, I have 5 Rx7's so I understand beleive me I do, but still 2 years comon

Yes, the car is taking a long time... Thanks for reminding me!
I have driven the car in the 2 year period. The car was done last year. But I was not satisfied with the engine and I burst a fuel line on the highway and could have had a major fire that I had no extinguisher for.(DAMNIT! I still need to get one!) That prompted me to tear the car apart again to do things better and make many additions.
You also need to realize that throughout this time, and for quite a bit before I even started this thread, I have been collecting parts like the body kit spoiler(s), hood, wheels etc.. All of which took a TON of time to obtain. Once I had everything or almost everything I could then finally take the car to the body shop to do everything in one big shot.

Final Primer. Next is rollbar install and undercarriage.
No pics of front lip on, but it really completes the front end and makes the car look very aggressive when it is installed.

I forgot to mention earlier, but, the strip of the front bumper between the lower airdam and the new cut hole has been reinforced with FG. It was a bit flexible in that area so we decided to stiffen it up a bit.

Juiceh two things:
1. you ********** too much, man stop shaking teh camera!!! :P :P :P jk
2. please please PLEASE don't tell me that they are doing the actual spray with all those panels on the car, it would be one hell of a shame if after all that beautiful prep work they did the color work with the fenders, doors, bumpers, mirrors, headlight lids, trunk lid, or ANY panels on the car!!!!!!!! Spray all those off the car!!!!

I'm no expert cameraman, but I stop by the shop on my lunch break to take quick videos. I don't do multiple takes. I don't have time. I also sleep maybe 3-4 hours a night on average, so I'm sure that doesn't help. I didn't even look at the footage on the camera before dumping it to my PC and converting it for youtube. I'll try to get more sleep before the next video. :Þ
Sprayed off the car then reassembled after drying to examine for defects and to save shop space. These fenders take up alot of space when they aren't on the car. Final coat will of course be done the same way.

im sure he has been waiting on that widebody for quite sometime, which slowed down some of the progress, but believe me im going 2yrs now and im still not done with mine some people would rather wait the to rush things, like they say "do it once, do it right"
I am not saying don't do it right by any means, but dragging something on and calling it a "build" is wack, if you are going to build the car build it, if its a project that basically has no end call it a neverending project, plus to be honest at 17 pages and over two hours of my life invested, I feel like Juiceh owes me about 180 bucks or so, I make about 90 an hour while working and reading and checking all the links and referenced material in this thread took some doing. Now I am not saying it was not worth it even though I myself find that to be some ugly ****, knowing how and seeing how to build a wide body vert could come in handy who knows. Bottom line is this, I sort of, SORT OF beleive that Juiceh wants this car done, and seeing as how I feel that if he doesnt truly want it done, because he enjoys the "process" or because the building/construction of things ( notice his LED mirrors and shiit etc ) is where the draw is, then its my job to make everyone, including myself, that is invested in this shitwhore of a read, happy and fufilled, AND to some further extend Juiceh himself, although come to think of it, **** that guy anyhow!
