LoL, why does everyone ask me that?

<object width="425" height="350"> <param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/AqQIz24FANE"> </param> <embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/AqQIz24FANE" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"> </embed> </object>

Primer!!! Trunks hood and spoilers get primered up tomorrow I'm told.

Engine bay has been cleaned and is going to be prepped for paint very soon. Engine bay will be body color. Engine subframe will be painted satin black.

Something else in the works:

Well I had amber bulbs in there before, now going with some orange LEDs. Switching over to LEDs with just about everything on this car. Just wait till you see my FTP solution. I may even be able to get my hands on a set of prototype LED headlights to put to use on my car through the company I work for. But we'll see about that.

Kinda hard to do since theres no battery in the car. The EDFC in the car is coming out and getting replaced with a new model anyway. So I won't be able to get any pics till the new one is in.

I'd say its worth it simply because it makes things that much easier. You don't have to have to stop and pop your hood to make dampening force changes. Makes alot of sense for a street driven car where the road conditions will change far more than they do on the track. I honestly have only put a couple hundred miles on it and I did use it multiple times to make adjustments on the fly. I think it is quite handy.

Some people will say "blah blah blah its not that hard to pop the hood and turn a screw" but they ignore the fact that this is not so easy to do at 100mph.

Hell no! That would make the whole concept pointless.

so from what i understand, you can adjust your dampening force while in motion?
that's insane. i see now why it costs an extra $300.

Yup, the EDFC doesn't care if your car is moving or not. Its not connected to anything to tell it whether you are moving or not. The EDFC is connected to the stepper motors on top of the struts and thats it I think.

Actually now its more like $400

I got my new FC EDFC kit from AutoRnD through their Tein GB for $355 shipped. As of 5-1-2008 Tein has established a new price structure. Basically 15% more. I know thats the way coilover prices have been affected I dunno if that applies to the EDFC though. Still worth it for the EDFC IMHO.

FYI Cusco has a product similar to the EDFC for use with Cusco Zero-2E Coilovers. The Cusco E-Con Controller.

Yah, basically the only reason I was gonna change my suspension to coilovers was because of the EDFCesque features.

Can you guys who posted about the other options maybe PM me or post up links about them, I don't see too many people using the HKS/cusco controllers. I do like the cusco coilovers for the fc though, so if you have a price on this thingy, I may want it!

Juice - sorrry to semihijack your thread, your car rocks.

Hood, trunks, spoilers all primered now. Engine bay has been power washed and is getting prepped for paint. Next, the car goes up on a lift. The gas tank will be dropped and sent out for a thorough cleaning and the whole underside will be cleaned up and recoated. Then the interior carpet is getting pulled. Onces all thats done the car will be painted.

i think the vert chassis is alot less stiff than a coupe, now combine insane rear tires, and alot of power, i think all that bondo would crack in a few years.
