I plan on moving to something in the 67mm area...hopefully I can get that sorted out over winter
Right on I've got 1 month before heading back to Afghanistan, so hopefully mine will be done with a little time to spare so I can enjoy the brisk winter intake temps I love this thread with or without numbers!

I'm hoping for 450 with my build, we'll see ^_^ last numbers I had personally were 370 on sequential BNRs, I lost a corner of my 3-piece seals (engine was like 60k miles, and about 6 years old, so I wasn't heart broken) shortly afterwards, and it just slowed down from there.. I don't expect to be dissappointed with this.

Things are coming along nicely with the v-mount, radiator and brackets are all finished up, just need to make the piping and ducting which wont be difficult at all. Don't mind the dinky single oil cooler, it'll be gone in the next update

I can only imagine what my oil temps were with the single oil cooler, but with this setup everything should be staying nice and cool, coupled with the water injection I expect gains across the board and some reliability...Dorito don't fail me now!

Looks real nice. We did a 6265 on an S4 TII a few months ago and were very pleased with the turbo. You should have a very nice combination when it's all finished.

I got mine back from PFS partially finished on Saturday night (02 Jan). They only did a partial tune for the break-in period. She stull put down about 370whp at 13psi (which came on FAST!!) Which is still faster'n **** imo, I'm almost afraid of what is going to happen when I get back, do the break in, and get her final tune to 17-18psi done..

My build is very similar to the one in this thread (streetport, vmic, dual oil coolers, PT6265, etc., etc..)

I like your style

Keep me updated for sure, we gotta represent for the 6265, I wouldn't mind knowing the details of your build as well and see how we did things.

Ill be aiming for 22-23psi on this new setup...that'll probably be the limit of my fuel system. I hope the turbo makes some good power up there.

Time for another update, its been kinda busy with holidays but I finally got some time in the garage. I also had to wait for a month almost for the oil coolers to arrive. Ill finalize everything within the week and get the piping done.

I hate winter

I'll try to remember to throw together a build thread when I get back this summer.

Unfortunately I only had my car for a day or two before deploying though, and while I'm out here I don't have any way to post pics and stuff (they are all on my phone, and I don't have a laptop to save them to).

a few options that I discovered, you can email them to yourself if you can get access to any computer, or some phones have a free flikr app you're able to install and just upload straight from your phone. Both are options if you're able to.

Nice, the 6265 will be my turbo choice as well in my SC300.

I would tend to agree with you. However all my pics are on my phone, and there's not exactly a supportive network for my droid out here in Afghanistan ;-)

I should have uploaded my pics to photobucket before leaving the states, but unfortunately it was the last thing on my mind =\

Ordered some aluminum IC piping today and some couplers...I ended up getting bored among other things and with the help of some friends we cleaned the entire engine bay and some touch up on brackets and wiring.

Ill have a good entourage of pics next week hopefully.

I have a Honda Accord that heads the everyday duties and winter time. Though when the weather gets nice I usually drive it every chance I get.

I want to get the car on a track and experience that for the first time as well, I still wouldn't hesitate to DD the FD if I had to.

I will probably follow the same process on the Flyin' Miata website.

http://flyinmiata.com/tech/depower.php?x=14

When I have my IC piping welded Ill just have the 'quill' done as well. The rest of it seems pretty straight forward, though Ill probably read for 2 hours anyway just to be sure.

The Maval and Atomic Rex both look like great options, but being that it's winter Ill just do it myself and save some cash.

Things are really shaping up well, a lot more has been done then I had originally planned but well worth it, the engine bay has gone through quite the make over. Lots of little things got painted and subtle touch ups. Along with a tiny diet to boot

Before: (Pre-Winter)

After: (Most Recent)

Consider an idler pulley for the water pump/alt belt. Also, some DEI fire sleeve on the section of oil feed line near the turbine housing. Did you heat sleeve the ABS line on that side of the bay? Likewise the heater hose. Last thing, what are your plans for routing the compressor discharge to the hot side entank of the intercooler? looks like it may be a bit of challenge.
