Your car looks as good as always. We need to cruise our 6265 fed cars once it warms up. Mine is so close to completion.

It'll be in the 60's here tomorrow, I had to order some more little **** like silicone vacuum lines, hopefully they're here by tomorrow so I can take advantage of the good weather and do some more wrenching.

If you ever wanna come and hit some RX7 meets around the Missouri area you're more than welcome to crash here.

Well after months of trying to get a 99 spec lip from the forum, I just decided to buy a new one. Those things go like hot cakes on here, sometimes its almost necessary to just sit in the parts section and hit the 'Refresh' button waiting for a fresh thread to pop up.

Anyway hope to have this dusty ol car finished up on Saturday. I am ITCHING to turn the boost up, hopefully in a month or so I'm not posting one of those 'blown engine' threads

Just don't displace a took of your fuel with some Frankenstein 100% meth injection system and you should be fine, lol

I can't wait for mine to get back on the road!!!

Kinda random, are you coming to DGRR this year?

I want to attend, I haven't heard any definite answers on what kind of budget that would require. Hell I gotta make it to some more around here

I love the smell of fresh rubber. Everything is done, just haven't had a chance to get some pics in, its been raining cats and dogs here for days. I'm anxious to turn the boost up.

I do have a worn rear diff bushings, replacing it doesn't look like much fun

More updates soon!

Stock coils and a HKS Twinfire...Plugs are 10's all the way around. Although I'm trying to diagnose a weird misfire just haven't dug into it yet.

Here is one of the few changes though since last time I posted. Always something.

I bought it from TopGearAuto...the fitment wasn't THAT good. Took some massaging, it also needed a lot of prep. I was quite skeptical at first but it turned nice

As of tonight the car is running strong @ ~23.5psi (1.62bar via Datalogit)...Finally got a break from all of the 100 degree days, and the nights are starting to cool down nicely!

Pump gas (93oct) and water injection, I believe the nozzle is a CM7 at least that's what I can remember...I need to double check

I have more room up top in terms of fuel and knock is non existent...I want to keep turning things up.

That's great to hear, any idea on power output? I'm finishing up my fuel setup and I'll be getting tune in October if everything goes as planned (6766 dbb 1.0 divided setup for me)

No idea on power, it'll spin them in 3rd going down the highway and that's with 285's. Ill see if I can get a good 60-130mph pull in, it's usually a decent indicator of power. I have a clunk I need to address before too long as well.

That 6766 should be a BEAST. You'll probably have to get that boost up there (25+psi) to really see it shine. Do you have a build thread rollin?

Nice!!! I'm looking forward to getting tuned, I don't have a build thread up (I might actually make one after the fact, kind of a cliffs notes deal). But I do plan on running 25+psi, I'm just getting everything situated with fuel and all so I don't run into hiccups. I'm doing preturbo meth/water injection (I actually have it installed pretty stealth ) But along with that, the 850/2200cc injectors, and the aeromotive 340 stealth (thinking about adding kb boost-a-pump also) I'm hoping to have enough to properly supply 30psi on this setup. If I can achieve anything close to smg94 performance wise...I'll be ecstatic.

I hope to have my little guy up to 25psi and that'll be my stopping point.

Mannykiller what do ya mean he's nuts? SMG944 didn't make any real power till he turned up the boost some more, referring to this thread. He only made 473whp at 23psi with the 6765.

just saying..... seems like a recipe for disaster for anything other than a top end dyno number. Haven't seen too many successful 480whp+ 2 rotors out there at tha high a boost pressure.

crank the boost up. don't be scared.

some people think you need a 2 foot long exhaust manifold to make power. some just turn up the boost.

Build it right, tune it right, use the right fuel/ai and it will last long enough. Learn to build your own engines, use the right seals and it doesn't cost that much to rebuild and doesn't destroy turbos.

Looks good. I have a similar build in progress but with a new OEM mazda engine (stock ports), vmic, pt6266, 725/2200 injectors .... I hope I can spool as quick as you guys on my stock port motor. I opted for the the divided .82 T4 hotside, per Sean's recommendation.

I think Ill be happy with 400rwhp.

Build thread in my sig.
