Dale, we went to UpGarage in Okinawa, didn’t get to go to the one in Tokyo(bum about it)
It was just OK in Okinawa… kind of disappointed.. lots of meh parts there.
I heard mainland is way better.
it was still really cool to check out and glad we went.
Steve
Looks like they pulled this FD trans from the bottom of the ocean???

DGRR 2025 Prep…. HELL YEAH!!!!
Needed a fresh alignment since going back to stock 5spd w/stock rear end.
Next is oil change and a small list of other minor things and we’ll be ready to hit the mountain roads!!

More DGRR 2025 Prep….
Brakes are flushed…. And it's been a couple years since flushing out the coolant so that was next.
My belts are about 6yrs old so I went ahead and swapped them for new ones.
Also thanks to @Banzai-Racing for the great service and FAST shipping!!
Order the belts and had them in hand in 3 days!!

So going to miss y'all again this year, but if our current plans work out, I'll be there every year thereafter. Now drive it like you stole it!!

My original fans have about 100k miles on them and were working fine but I wanted to try out the S2 RX8 motors and fans.
Thanks to @JP3 Motorsports
They provide a great kit! (motors, blades, connectors)
S2 RX8 fans are supposed to have more airflow than stock FD3S fans/motors.
Excited to see how they work out 👍

Thx Bro!

Haltech released a much-needed update for the IC-7 dash.
Now users customize it more and add pics.

Finally got the front AP Racing BBK installed..... only took 2yrs
I bought the kit used from @tomsn16 and went ahead and replaced the rotors, rebuilt the calipers and fresh brake pads.
Should be nice upgrade up at DGRR in the mountains.
Also upgraded to the 929 master cylinder with the @Banzai-Racing lines kit.
Again they ship lighting fast and I had the parts in hand in a couple of days from ordering!
So far initial impressions are.... these brakes can really bite down!
Very Happy!

Great add Steve! Kit looks brand new - Jim coming through as always
What size caliper is that? The CP8240? What did you go with for pads and what are you pairing it with for the rear setup?
Safe travels to Deals Gap - have fun!

Thanks Sir!!
Thanks Man!
Yes, AP Racing CP8240 calipers.... it's the Sakebomb kits, Front and Rear bigger rear rotor w/stock caliper.
I went with HAWK HPS pads.. it's primary a street car but I do wanna start doing some local autoX and such.
I figured that'd be a good all-around pad to start with.
You going to DGRR this year? be cool to see your FD.... it's such a great build and to see it in person would be sweet!!
I'll be posting alots for pics from DGRR too
Also shined her up with some wax!! She’s ready for the 9hr drive to DGRR 2025! So excited!!
