A few reasons really.

1. My 35R is a 4 bolt hotside. So I would have had to modify the downpipe for a V band as well.

2. Turbo placement with my current kit is very high and forward, which does make it difficult for space. This manifold has a much lower profile. I really want to run a larger filter and get my WI nozzle farther from the compressor.

3. Reselling my setup as an entire kit is easier than parting it out.

Back from paint today. I am very pleased with the work that was done. A few touch-ups here and there. Need to lower my Vmount a little, and relocate my horn. The work was top notch. The front is a little high since the bay is gutted. Now my work begins...

Looks great. What front bumper is that? And I'll just go ahead and be the first one to tell you that you need to do something about your wheel spacing.

^ Just a guess but I would say it is an authentic FEED type 1 bumper.

Not sure if I posted a pic of my authentic Feed type I bumper, so here she is. Coupled with my hood and Ganador mirrors, I think it will turn out nicely.

Yes, it is a Feed type I. The fender spacing is so high because my engine bay is stripped. Granted, my car isn't slammed, but it does sit a bit lower than the pics show.

As far as the rears, they really pulled them out nicely. I'll probably be putting some 11's back there eventually. 305's....

^awesome! i'm looking for another set of 11's as well. But i'm only running 265's...305's would break the bank for me haha...and create all sorts of problems for what i'm using my car for =-)

Though it wasn't my initial plan, I can see it shifting that direction. Traction has been an issue, even with my 285's. Throw more power into the mix, and I can foresee larger rears helping. I may try test-fitting my 10's in the front to see how things look. I really don't like the idea of selling my wheels. They are by far my favorite wheel for FD's, and they still are relatively rare among the community. Cost being a contributing factor. At $900 per wheel with the Brilliant Buff Finish, I could drop $3k on rears alone. However, cost has never stopped me before.

Did you just say Work Meister S1's were rare in the FD community?...

I wondered where that fancy paint came from. Found a good home.

Keep me in mind if you decide to sell the wheels. I'll have a set on one of my FD's eventually. Been admiring yours and mannykillers for some time.

Could you just get wider lips to make them look more aggressive?

Definitely. With the 3-piece, a wider lip would be way more cost effective. I have to see how it all plays out with the front and rear as I take measurements. Ultimately, the wheels will remain as is, until I finish the engine bay and re-tune.
