As far as the bay goes, as mentioned I will be changing things up a bit. Not only am I trying to make everything as clean as possible, but more functional. With this, the intercooler is getting positioned for a more filter friendly setup.

lol, thanks for giving a sneak peek to what my next design update is to my track kits.

the baby vm ( the street / autox) is already done. Twin track and single track are next.

also the kits will come with basic ducting.

monster vm core is too big to do this with.

the ps cooler will also be places at angle behind the top of the IC. The change will also be made to clear the mocal thermostat that comes off the front cover that people use with upgraded coolers.

Thanks for the real estate in your thread.

For questions for me, please pm me so we dont hog up josh's thread..

Thanks guys!

It's at the paint shop as we speak. A few details of what is being done.

- Complete repaint of exterior, door jams, and engine bay in Montego Blue
- Anti-chip lower strip smoothed and removed
- Feed Type I bumper fitted
- Ganador mirrors fitted
- Antenna hole shaved
- Badges removed except Efini emblems
- New headlight lids
- New vent on driver side (missing the little grill. Pricey at $140 each!)
- New windshield
- Fenders rolled

From there I will be going to work!!

- New Rywire harness with integrated water injection wiring
- Wire tuck
- Vmount repositioning and add ducting
- Ceramichrome as much as possible (bolt heads, brackets, alternator, fuel rails, fittings, WI tank and coolant piping)
- New ported shroud for my 35R (should get at least 5lbs of air)
- Turbo inspected & possible CHRA replace
- Relocate EGT probe to manifold
- Rewrap header, and DP then paint with DEI 1500deg silicone paint

I'm sure there is more.....

Come Spring, it should be ROCKING!!

Just picked up a Gt35R T4 with a P-trim hotside. Very stoked to get it retuned at 25psi. I feel I will finally hit my 500whp goal, or come a bit closer.

Back from paint soon!

Its a 1.0 a/r. Pics of the setup and car comming soon. Gonna go by the paint shop and snap a few pics tomorrow. All body work is done. Priming tomorrow and paint next week.

As far as my pics from my initial build, I'm trying to get my damn photobucket sorted back out.

Yes, this TD61 is gonna rock!

My photobucket is hosed.... I put everything back as it was and the links still aren't resolving. I'll hit up a Mod and see if they can help me sort it out.

25psi is a lot of fun on that turbo. You will find its the realistic limit of a street car( drive-train/street tires )

Yeah man, I am pumped. My power level now has been pretty crazy for the street. However, I feel this setup will be what I have been looking for.

Have you dyno'd the 1.0 a/r at high boost on any FD engines? Curious to see how it compares in spool and top end to the 1.16.

I have not dynoed a 1.0 at high boost. I've always used the 1.15 past 20psi. I have found "spool" in 4th gear on the Dyno the same as a 1.06 standard gt35r, but a lot more power with the Ptrim wheel past 5500rpms.

My TD61 has a 1.0 AR and made 439 RWHP at 16.5 psi. Compressor will start choking off as you near 500, so I'm not sure how much power you'll make North of 500. Friend of mine had a "stock" T3 GT35R and made 515, but I think he was pushing 25-30 psi. He was definitely just trying to make a number on that dyno run and admitted it. He never ran the car at that power level afterwards on the street.

Good luck. Keep us posted.

Thanks for the insight. I expect to make high 400's and will be quite happy with that. As Turblown mentioned, it really is the realistic limit of a street car at our weight.

Keep ya postes guys.

Some updates...

Spoke with the body shop a few days ago. The FD is painted and it's being buffed and assembled. I will be picking it up next Saturday. I'm ecstatic to say the least.

My new turbo and manifold arrived a few days ago. I put my polished housing on it and snapped a few pictures. I ordered Rx7store's downpipe and plan to have a local shop plumb in the wastegate once I get an idea of how it will all go together. I also picked up a new T4 blanket on the club. All blue fittings will be replaced with black once and for all.

My T3 35R kit will be going up for sale soon.

What is the reason you did not just have a t4 flange welded onto your old manifold?
