i nailed a buck180. it was about 2:30 in the morning about 2 weeks ago on the florida turnpike. absolutly freakin increadible is all i have to say. dont do it on stock suspension and 16s though. i tried once with the stock set up and only got to 143 and then got scared. now i have 18's, and a fully adjustible suspension.

He never went that fast in an S4. Ever seen the US cannon ball footage, they topped an S4 out at 160, the car was extremely modified, far more than his friends. The tack was also pegged so unless your buddy had rear end or tranny work done, theres no way he went that fast.

Sorry to be a dick, but an S4 can not go much beyond 160, short of changing up the gearing.

Well back from Big Bend Open Road Race and got good high speed speedo correction factors. 172 on my needle ruinning on 245/45-16 tires = 164 mph over the ground.

PS: scratch412 was me.

Its simple math:

A buck = 100
180 = 180

Therefore, a buck180 = 280 mph

240 kilometer/hour = 149.1290861 mile/hour (mph) Wind was kind of raunchy and this was about 2 years ago, I would like to do it on the same stretch sometime, since I have aero now.

On a totally stock FD, timed at 151mph. Speedo read 160. This was at an airfield using GPS tracking, so is dead accurate. (Best of the timed FDs on the day was 169. This was with a big single pushing probably mid to high 400's). This was at around 1.3 miles from a standing start.)

Hi..

I have driven 187 mph (300 kph) in my FD. I have a video of the run and it has been here on the forum for a long time...

Do a search for the video (search for "300 kph")..

Yea we've see that badass video man. I have it saved on my computer I wish we had tunnels like that tho...I wouldn't have to worry about crosswinds, deer, cops etc... PERFECT for doing a top speed run!

yeah i have those videos saved on my other computer

great great vids

damn, so going 187 was pretty stable? cause you have stock aero parts..i would be scared to go past 160 on the stock body without the aid of more aerodynamic parts..

Fun (and crazy) to see such a disply of power.
I can only claim 150-160 a half dozen times, when the whipers start lifting around 150 and my brain keeps thinking V=149-V=149...I back off.
If that mph chart is correct, I can do 198MPH with 400+rwhp....I hope.

I beat one of those supercharged $80k jags from 80- 150mph.....boy was he really pissed off.
