Get ready to invest some money into reliability mods if it doesnt already have them (radiator, fan switch, aluminum AST tank). Also, there isnt a single thing for this car thats cheap about it - that not only goes for modding it but fixing it too.

 

Would you guys say that the RX7 wasn't made to be a daily driver?

YES! a weekend car or a second car but not a daily driver!

 

mines a daily driver...........but i just killed my transmission so dont listen to me.

 

Its not a daily driver. It is a dam sight better than a prelude!

 

I daily drive mine. If you plan ahead and take a lot of preventative maintanence its not hard. Just dont rag on it every time you drive somewhere. Only complaint is fuel economy. Be prepared to pay out the *** for gas.

Something else to consider. They are 12 years old too.
